I'm not sure. Some years ago a friend and me figured out, during a vacation it would be fun to take a lot of shrooms and just lie on the beach on a day like on the picture. We tripped our brain but we became crustaceans from outside from the sun, it hurt as hell for a week.

Unfortunately it only happens at certain latitudes above and below the equator, so it can't really happen just anywhere, just in the few places that are at those latitudes.

No, they are separate countries. American Samoa isn't. It isn't a state, but neither are Guam and Puerto Rico. They're still part of the US.
