Honestly when I look at reddit threads about DeSantis I've seen "he'd be worse than Trump" as a fairly common opinion these days. I think the libs that would have prefered him for being more respectable are 1. a minority of libs, only the absolute most decorum pilled ones 2. have turned on him as more things have come out about him and the "respectability" has kind of faded. 3. Turning on Disney probably didnt help him with those libs lol.
