Mods may use discretion to pre-approve videos or press releases from highly credible sources that provide unique, newsworthy content not available or possible in another format.
7. No duplicate posts.
If an article has already been posted, it will be removed. Different articles reporting on the same subject are permitted. If the post that matches your post is very old, we refer you to rule 5.
8. Misinformation is prohibited.
Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.
9. No link shorteners or news aggregators.
All posts must link to original article sources. You may include archival links in the post description. News aggregators such as Yahoo, Google, Hacker News, etc. should be avoided in favor of the original source link. Newswire services such as AP, Reuters, or AFP, are frequently republished and may be shared from other credible sources.
10. Don't copy entire article in your post body
For copyright reasons, you are not allowed to copy an entire article into your post body. This is an instance wide rule, that is strictly enforced in this community.

He was a cool guy, a very nice guy. He really stood up for his beliefs, which is something that me and him have in common, liberals don't like us.

Makes sense that a failure would want to name things after failures.
Why do this? Because he believes the liberals are going to freak out about this and forget about rioting.
Because a majority of his people don’t care about the racism or approve of it.
It’s a populist move in the USA.
He definitely doesn't want the rioting to end, he is actively trying to make it bigger. What he wants to people forgetting is that Musk repeated that Trump is in the Epstein flight logs.

It's interesting how when France or Germany protests and property is damaged, US media always calls them protests, but when my compatriots do it, they're "riots."
And to embolden his fan base. It's a win-win for him.
It's like he's compelled to be on the moral wrong side of absolutely everything. Reminder: the Confederacy wanted to secede so they could continue owning and abusing black people for profit. What a garbage person Trump is...
There has to be some kind of psychological term for this. Conservatives are obsessed with triggering the libs, it's like they live in a perpetual state of wanting to be an asshole.
I will resist them, but honestly I can't imagine living with that much hatred inside me...

Left hand: Protesters waving Mexican flags in the US are unpatriotic or traitors.
Right hand: The names of the soldiers of the traitorous racist confederacy should be forever remembered and boosted above real Amercan soldiers and real American figures of good repute, plastered across our military bases, schools, and town squares. We should all romanticize these men who killed American soldiers in the defense of the institution of slavery.
I mean restoring the names of traitors is pretty on point for a fucking traitor.

The Confederacy and its people were an enemy foreign state. It wasn't like a little club the South had for a few years. They split from the USA. They were defectors, traitors, enemies of the USA.
Not surprised Donny would do this, though. He dismissed the insurrection on Jan 6th, which was a group of defectors, traitors, and enemies of the USA. He's a 34-time felon, which means he has a history of being against the US, its citizens, and their interests.
Why do we want to keep them named after people who literally fought against the US?
What will this accomplish? They renamed the Sears Tower and nobody got on board. Sears went bankrupt and they still own the name of that skyscraper. This just seems like today's flavor of wet fart.

I’m surprised his favorite president is still Jackson, when we actually had a Confederate (ex) president.
President John Tyler, who took over after the death of William Henry Harrison, supported and joined the Confederate States’ Congress later in life, though he died before he could actually take his seat in it.
