Pennsylvania is so treat-pilled they have not one but two Hershey treat companies; Hershey creamery is an ice cream company out of Pennsylvania unrelated to the chocolate company (and yes, there’s been a bunch of lawsuits between the two).
Don't forget about Wawa and Sheetz, elevating gas stations in the treat category as well
I appreciate that Wawa doesn’t mark up its treats as much as the other gas stations. Every time I go to a 7/11 or some other random stop I’m reminded of how bad gas station prices can be.
No disrespect to Wawa or Sheetz, but they are mere ants before the gas station treat behemoth that is Buc-ee’s.

It's always been in a bit of a limbo. Baltimore had riots during the Civil War between pro-Confederates and pro-Unionists (most of the Unionists were German immigrants interestingly since they tended to lean more left at the time).
Baltimore: where the industrial decay of the North meets the casual racism of the South.
