An apology doesn't do anyone any fucking good anyway. I suppose it's better than not apologizing, but it's making an empty gesture even emptier when you know it won't pass.

Wtf. I have no illusions about AOC being good, but I guess I at least thought she was better than this. Would seem like an unforced error for any actual leftist, as I can't think of any compelling political reason to support the coup. It's not like Venezuelan compradors have their own AIPAC.

Have they? I thought half the joke with Bernie/AOC was how they were never let anywhere near any policy control levers.
What I meant that the USA should not try to intervene in any other country let alone a third world country under the pretext of "democracy" or some other bullshit like that. They have done enough damage to Chile along and unless they wanna pay reparations they should stay away from them.
I'm not seeing anything in this suggesting they're calling for foreign intervention anywhere
