OP, in the comments, describing what kicked this off:
The code on your disk is 100% correct, but the browser is definitely running an old version (the error you see is impossible with the current code). This happens when the Vite cache gets stuck.
Please do this to force a clean start:
- Stop the servers (Ctrl+C).
- Go to
d:\ETSY 2025\Antigravity Projects\Image Selector\client\node_modulesand delete the.vitefolder.- Restart the servers (
npm startin server,npm run devin client).- Hard refresh the browser (Ctrl+Shift+R).
This will force Vite to re-bundle the code and pick up the fix. The app should then work perfectly.
ME: I don't understand the step 3. Can you do it for me

I remember seeing someone talking about how they’re a vibe coder on here in the past and I think we successfully bullied them off
I decided not to get back into software dev after my team got let go a few years ago, and every day since then I feel more and more like that was the right decision.
Eh it occasionally speeds up some boilerplate stuff but you should use it sparingly.
Of course anybody that claims they can build production grade services and/or apps without writing or reviewing any code manually is a grifter dipshit that has no clue how any of these things actually work.
