300ml espresso and 30mg amphetamines

[–] MagicShel@lemmy.zip 13 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

IT worker? I recognize that breakfast.

[–] mech@feddit.org 17 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

IT worker with ADHD, of course.

[–] SeductiveTortoise@piefed.social 6 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

An advertising agency without ADHD would also be possible.

[–] remon@ani.social 5 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Let's not assume the worst of people.

the good ole hippy speedball

[–] grte@lemmy.ca 7 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Two fried eggs, an orange, a banana, a piece of naan, and coffee.

[–] cloudless@piefed.social 4 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Plain naan? I need more flavours with naan, at least some butter.

[–] grte@lemmy.ca 5 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago) (1 children)

The package says garlic naan, but basically plain, yes. Just warmed up in the toaster. I wipe up stray egg yolk for sauce.

[–] mysticpickle@lemmy.ca 3 points 2 weeks ago

Costco naan enjoyer spotted

[–] dkppunk@piefed.social 7 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Coffee and weed, but it’s only 7am and I haven’t started work yet.

In an hour or two, I’ll have my usual leftover quesadilla. Whatever leftovers in the fridge, I add cheese, tortilla, and Cholula sauce then toast for 3-4 minutes. Leftover roasted broccoli quesadillas are a favorite of mine.

[–] MeThisGuy@feddit.nl 3 points 2 weeks ago (5 children)

+1 for coffee, +1 for weed, +2 for quelsedillas

I had a Bowl of baked oats, nuts and seeds mixed with some blueberries, one half of a pear, unflavored yoghurt and some apple-apricot puree. And a cup of coffee to drink.

[–] SeductiveTortoise@piefed.social 5 points 2 weeks ago

Coffee, a mental breakdown and some meds. The breakfast of champions!

More of an early lunch by the time I got around to eating, but homemade chili con carne with gluten free cornbread topped with freshly-chopped red onion and green jalapeno. Freshly-shredded cheddar cheese to top it off.

I haven't seen a proper cucumber in so long that this pic is making me sad. I had completely forgotten that cucumbers aren't supposed to have white flesh with a green tinge.

Also, I'm extra sad because I tried to eat one for lunch and they've both gone bad, fed to the pig.

[–] dufkm@lemmy.world 5 points 2 weeks ago

That's not a nice thing to call your wife.

I tried skipping breakfast (intermittent fasting), but that didn't work for me. Felt terrible and gained weight.

[–] lvxferre@mander.xyz 3 points 2 weeks ago

Leftover polenta from yesterday lunch with two eggs, some yerba, and a cig.

[–] harambe69@lemmy.dbzer0.com 3 points 2 weeks ago

A liquid breakfast meal made of various grains and legumes. It's a traditional drink called sattu. Keeps me going until dinner if need be.

[–] TechnoCat@piefed.social 2 points 2 weeks ago

I eat this a lot too. So good.

[–] MisterNeon@lemmy.world 3 points 2 weeks ago (2 children)

A glass of water. It's basically all I can afford now.

[–] remon@ani.social 4 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Was it at least hot water?

[–] MisterNeon@lemmy.world 3 points 2 weeks ago

Frigid because I don't want to pay for heating.

[–] LouNeko@lemmy.world 4 points 2 weeks ago

Same thing I've had almost every day for the last ten years. A bowl of frosted Mini-wheats.

[–] TechnoCat@piefed.social 2 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago)

I eat cereal about once a month and frosted mini wheats is what it always is. So basic and good.

Lol, it's barely even 8 am and I've kinda just been up at night, and I just ate a bunch of doritos. Didn't even have a "real" breakfast yet...

Oat porridge with peanut butter and Greek yoghurt.

Oat banana blueberry bake with pecans, dragonwell green tea, and a spicy vegan sausage patty

[–] SuiXi3D@fedia.io 2 points 2 weeks ago

I stopped by Burger King on the way to work, since it’s all I really had/have time for. Just a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit and a Coke Zero. Not great, I know, but it’s cheap and fills the hole.

[–] Pulptastic@midwest.social 2 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago)

A cup of coffee and a small piece of licorice.

Your breakfast looks delicious! I need to get more hummus.
