I'd say my friends are left leaning 'conservatists' (believing in fair wages, low rent etc. but hope for reform) and not a single one of them would cancel me over that statement, hell half would probably agree readily.

I've met/interacted with a lot of Germans and I feel comfortable generalizing an entire group of people without exceptions: they're pretty fucking weird and ideologically a mess.
