She's attempting to stay relevant after quitting congress and currently has no role/job.
She's going to run for Gov of GA. She needs to moderate to get that position.

This. The way forward is this. Her audience needs to hear this. Not us on Lemmy, we already know.
It boils down to a simplified "us versus them" attitude that the wealthy exploit regardless of party.
No one should agree with anyone 100% of the time, because then you're just blindly agreeing and not thinking.
But people who view the world as binary teams like that can't rationalize any of "them" saying anything right.
Right now it's very important to remember because fascists are always dogshit at maintaining a coaltion after assuming power. Divide and conquer is cliche for a reason, it fucking works.
We need to hammer the 2A angle, because 2A is a huge chunk of Republican support. That's one of their top wedge issues.
Pro-gun progressives could always dominate any election, but even more so now that the left should understand how important gun rights are. And we'd still cut down on mass shootings, because people would feel like they have something to lose in the first place.

Coming out of this hell for the USA could require help from anyone, and convincing MAGAs to come over to the good side might be accomplished more readily by someone who once was theirs, would that be her or not.

This is like the 3rd time I’ve agreed with her this year.
Much as that sucks, it could be that we’re being fed bullshit to divide us. Weird, I know.
She’s still an idiot whose views only align with mine in a few cases because she doesn’t really understand reality.
But she actually seems like someone who maybe cares about the truth sometimes. She was indoctrinated, but maybe she could be pulled out of it? Not when she’s surrounded by the right wing echo chamber, but it gives me some hope that the redcaps in our own orbit might have a chance?

I’ll take what can be had from her words, but she cannot be trusted and shares blame for the groundwork for the cult followers we see today. She’s also made a lot of money and is getting out after the fact.
