You can afford 2 dogs but not another bowl?

... You can't just feed the one dog and then the other preventing a very likely dog fight?

This is stupid as shit, and I love dogs.

Right? In what world does this setup make any sense?

[–] Drusas@fedia.io 2 points 1 month ago

To people who don't know dogs well (and yes, that sadly includes many who have had dogs).

I use 1 bowl for 2 dogs. Free choice feeding. No fights. It just works for us. The saving 1/2 for the other dog isn’t likely, but the bow gets refilled whenever it gets low.

Just my experience.

Lucky. With my dogs, that wouldn't have ever caused fights, but it would cause one to take advantage.

Open feeding is pretty common and works well when you have more than one dog because they pretty much do just pick up how it works from eachother, but they don't do what's shown in the image lmao

I just pour my food on the ground, survival of the fittest.

If catbox wasn't down, I'd be able to comment more on it, but let's try to keep things Wholesome. Including comments please?

Thanks

You just filled a bowl half full of dog food and wrote a sob story for clicks.

For sale: baby shoes, half worn.

::: spoiler It's a baby pirate. :::

But isn't art fun? It makes you feel something, doesn't it?

What do you call it when you make up a sad story just to get clicks?

Ragebait, wait no that's what you do when you jerk off to your enemies.

All I'm seeing is that somehow a lab was trained not to eat. Doubt.

[–] TrickDacy@lemmy.world 11 points 1 month ago (1 children)

If this is real, that dog has more self control than any I've ever seen.

One of my dogs gobbles down his food without chewing or tasting it.

The other eats a little, when he is full he stops. He might come back for the rest later, he might not.

But it’s def not real.

Yeah, that's the two categories of dogs I've been aware of. But I will say 90% are in the first category.
