That’s very clearly black and blue.

Solidarity based on being wrong certainly is a thing.

Blue gold for me, looking at it now. Can't remember what I thought before

[–] saturn_888@sh.itjust.works 2 points 2 weeks ago

My colorblind ass eyes say green/sky blue

[–] legopika@lemmy.blahaj.zone 3 points 1 month ago

So it's not just me who sees blue and green!

[–] psx_crab@lemmy.zip 5 points 1 month ago

Does the guy in blue think the baby is going to come out dead?

[–] meejle@lemmy.world 11 points 1 month ago

The dummy putting together the original post obviously realised if the instruction was "wear pink or blue to show what sex you think the baby will be", it would've gotten in the way of their faintly racist boomer joke.

But they didn't have enough braincells left over to realise the whole thing now doesn't make any sense.

As long as it's weird on purpose, fine. Just don't be that weird by accident!

I mean that other lady is wearing white. I assume she's the pregnant lady and she didn't even follow her own rule.

me showing up in my purple Prince suit

"I hope the one eyed, one horned, flying purple people eater doesn't show up."

The color the baby will be? I think they usually come out pretty red.

Was she right?

[–] msantossilva@sh.itjust.works 6 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago) (1 children)

Ok, sure, she did not read the instructions. But what is the problem of guessing black? Obviously, if they are asking you to guess, that must mean there is some level of uncertainty regarding the child's colour. Humans do not come in many different shades but black is surely one of them. It would have been really weird, for instance, if someone were to guess blue

I fear this post may be dogwhistling and hoping we don't ask such questions.

[–] emergencyfood@sh.itjust.works 4 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Well at least she wasn't wearing blue or green.
