It's interesting that bullets are perhaps one of the most important civilian treats in the American economy.
I remember this lesson from COVID. IIRC, like ALL the primers for small arms bullets come from China.
.22LR gang wins again. During the COVID ammo shortages, it was the only round still widely available around here. The 9mm and 5.56mm immediately sold out or tripled in price. 7.62mm was totally unavailable and the other niche rifle cartridges were mostly for expensive big game rifles. .22 was still about the same price and a pack of 500 will last longer than I do if shit hits the fan.
