We have shitty unrepairable phones and computers with patronising interfaces, sports most people can't afford to attend because the tickets get scalped, and someone who openly brags about having blue eyes (she promises it's not in that way though). China is quaking I'm sure.

Sydney Sweeney feels particularly weird to include in this. Like Apple as a tech corpo... I guess?? Sports... okay... but then a fucking actress as a point in being better than China???

And even then it's all commodity and entertainment. China's future is poverty alleviation, education and innovation. So if you care only for circus and bread then I guess China is not the future for you?

This is what I thought first. It might be reading into it too much to call it a "dogwhistle"... But sounds like they're saying "China doesn't have beautiful blonde Aryan actors like America does." Or maybe it's just lazy and horny.
