He looks like a primate from a zoo

[–] SkaveRat@discuss.tchncs.de 3 points 2 hours ago

You must visit weird zoos

[–] BillCheddar@lemmy.world 1 points 5 hours ago

Is this like baseball cards, and one of the cubes is like an autographed T&T Wedding Night condom or whatever?

[–] MIDItheKID@lemmy.world 9 points 11 hours ago (2 children)

It's too bad she's a billionaire POS. If there's one person that could trigger the revolution, it might be her. She just has to say the word. These people would follow.

[–] LastYearsIrritant@sopuli.xyz 7 points 2 hours ago

She couldn't get Harris elected, I don't think she has the draw you think she does.

[–] Knock_Knock_Lemmy_In@lemmy.world 4 points 5 hours ago (1 children)

What's the word? Maybe we can trick her into saying it.

People worshiping the rich and famous are responsible for a lot of the problems in the world today.

[–] clay_pidgin@sh.itjust.works 10 points 19 hours ago (1 children)

More or less than the rich and famous themselves?

[–] dan1101@lemmy.world 8 points 18 hours ago

Both in different ways, the masses give them a pass for bad behavior, and also vote for the populists.

Meanwhile, the Federation of Planets : "Do NOT approach Earth, there's nothing we can do for them."

[–] Eternal192@anarchist.nexus 11 points 16 hours ago (2 children)

You kidding me? They have scopes on us 24/7, we are their equivalent of the Twilight Zone, whole galaxy watches and laughs at our stupidity.

[–] TwodogsFighting@lemdro.id 1 points 3 hours ago

The galactic equivalent of 'Ow, my balls'.

[–] BillCheddar@lemmy.world 2 points 5 hours ago

That would make UFOs their equivalent to our Scientology Speedrunning challenge?

[–] joeljoelle@piefed.blahaj.zone 26 points 19 hours ago

I guess it would be pretty easy to say that Swift fans have been paying for garbage for years but to each their own :P

Lemmy is nuts. You see the same memes you saw in high school even though highschool was two decades ago.

How old was Taylor Swift 20 years ago and why did she get married this early?

[–] InputZero@lemmy.world 3 points 16 hours ago (5 children)

You know for a private investigator, you're not very good at investigating. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taylor_Swift

Come on people we jumped the shark on this with gamer girl bathwater a while ago

[–] ech@lemmy.ca 9 points 19 hours ago

The real lesson is it was never about the gamers. Weirdos from every walk of life will buy this shit up.

[–] PartyAt15thAndSummit@lemmy.zip 7 points 16 hours ago

Ruling class be like:

[–] betterdeadthanreddit@lemmy.world 38 points 23 hours ago (2 children)

If it incentivizes people to clean up, I don't hate it as much as I did at first glance. Just won't think too hard about the shipping and other additional waste production involved.

[–] kevin2107@lemmy.world 6 points 15 hours ago

lmao one person's trash 😂

[–] PhobosAnomaly@feddit.uk 10 points 22 hours ago

Yeah fair play. Mad respect to the domestic and waste workers making the place looks half decent for everyone... but I can't really hate on a guy for tidying shit into bags and selling them to people with more money than sense.

If it makes that corner of the world look a bit nicer for humans and animals alike... I can't hate on it.

[–] Rivermoonwolf@lemmy.world 17 points 21 hours ago (5 children)

Jesus, people are so desperate for celebrity validation they're actually buying their goddamn rubbish now? What next, someone's gonna auction off Bieber's used condoms?

[–] TrickDacy@lemmy.world 14 points 17 hours ago

That would literally go for a million dollars :/

This is how the trash was packaged and sold:

[–] SubArcticTundra@lemmy.ml 6 points 19 hours ago

You have to appreciate the originality though

I never really cared enough to look beyond the marketing for Taylor Swift, so my opinion was pretty much "Whatever, she seems nice enough", but having a wedding in MSG at all is seriously off-putting.

That's not an invitation to list everything bad about her. I still don't care.
