Less than two weeks after paying E. Jean Carroll $5.6 million tied to a civil sexual abuse and defamation case, President Donald Trump is asking for the money back.

Trump’s legal team is seeking an emergency injunction that would force Carroll to return the amount she was paid following a judge’s July 8 ruling that ordered the payment process to begin, according to The Independent.

Goddammit motherfucker just fucking die! It's fucking pennies compared to what he is stealing from us tax payers every fucking day. Let it go you fucking pedophile! He should be going to prison not fighting to still overturn his lose in 2020 and fighting over this. He rapes a woman and allowed to walk free only having to pay 5 million. Yet he got to keep fighting her over this.

Trump has this utterly fundamental belief that you're either a "winner" or a "loser." The moment you give something they want, that makes them the winner and therefore you are the loser. He doesn't care about the numbers, he just cares about whether he's winning.

[–] Gerblat@lemmy.world 59 points 4 days ago (1 children)

Ironic, since he’s one of the biggest fucking losers in recent history lmao

[–] Fredselfish@lemmy.world 45 points 4 days ago (2 children)

Hard to tell with him making billions off our tax dollars and having zero consequences for the corruption.

[–] Zachariah@lemmy.world 20 points 4 days ago (1 children)

and literally nobody loves him—not even himself

[–] kewjo@lemmy.world 2 points 3 days ago

i don't think he has that emotion, everything is just an object to him.

[–] phutatorius@lemmy.zip 2 points 2 days ago

Zero consequences so far.

[–] nickiwest@lemmy.world 3 points 3 days ago

I would bet that he's got his father's voice in his head, telling him what a loser he is a dozen times a day.

A lot of us have family trauma. Most of us don't try to burn down the entire world because of it.

How different do you think things would be if someone had gotten this man into therapy in the '80s or '90s?

He should be dropped down a fucking hole and used as a urinal.

[–] Tolookah@discuss.tchncs.de 10 points 4 days ago (1 children)

No, he would like that. Allegedly.

Make him detox, not even caffeine.

[–] Fredselfish@lemmy.world 22 points 4 days ago (1 children)

No strip him of all his money and throw him in a prison cell until he dies. Be the worse way for him to live. On top of it release all the files on Epstein and his true medical records.

Can't wait for another judge to tell him to fuck off and E. Jean gets to keep what he owed her. And she should sue him for harassment.

[–] Jaysyn@lemmy.world 28 points 3 days ago (1 children)

LOL, hurry up and stroke out, loser.

[–] oopsgodisdeadmybad@lemmy.zip 16 points 3 days ago

I hope his body tortures him on the way out. Actual complete suffering and conscious awareness of what is happening. And do it in 4k.

Any time someone has a bad day, show em him screaming in pain before he goes limp. Makes everybody feel better every time.

[–] BarneyPiccolo@lemmy.today 24 points 3 days ago (3 children)

When is he going to be declared a vexatious litigant, and be prohibited from filing lawsuits?

[–] phutatorius@lemmy.zip 6 points 2 days ago

If he can't be on the receiving end of civil suits while he's president, he should also be banned from originating them. After all, the Supreme Court's bullshit reason is that he's supposed to be too busy, though he spends more time playing golf and soiling himself than he does actually working. And doing otherwise creates a power asymmetry that he can exploit, as we have seen.

[–] UltraGiGaGigantic@lemmy.ml 15 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Why are you expecting Justice from the Justice system?

[–] M0oP0o@mander.xyz 3 points 3 days ago

Just waiting until they rename it to the ministry of love

And pay her more money because of it!

[–] A_Random_Idiot@lemmy.world 46 points 4 days ago

Oh look, thats an awful poor attempt to distract from iran, both of which are very poor attempts to distract from the fact that he raped children on epsteins island, potentially killed newborn babies from said children, and may have even been included in the cannibalism of said children

[–] FreddiesLantern@leminal.space 17 points 3 days ago

Uh-oh they're paying attention to the war that I'm using to distract from the Epstein files to distract from the reflecting pool to distract from the diapers to distract from Russia to distract from my cankles to distract from the bruises to distract from the assassination attempts to distract from the Howard Stern episodes to distract from the mashed potatoes to distract from the ... wait I lost count.

I remember a story of someone in New York, I think they were a journalist, sending to the well known, wealthy in the city a check for one penny. Only person who cashed it was Trump.

[–] quick_snail@feddit.nl 10 points 3 days ago (3 children)

I think there was two people, and one was Trump

[–] jestho@lemmy.zip 12 points 3 days ago

Donald Trump and Bonald Brump 🥸

It still shows how money grubbing he is. I received some checks from a defunct 401K for a penny each. I plan to frame them eventually.

[–] andyburke@fedia.io 37 points 4 days ago (2 children)

He wants you mad about this bullshit that won't fly so you ignore his abject failures in Iran and at home and that the Epstein class is still doing whatever it wants even though he promised he would "drain the swamp."

[–] ripcord@lemmy.world 13 points 3 days ago

Nah, he's just a piece od shit. This isn't part of some strategy.

Mad? This is hilarious!

[–] FiniteBanjo@feddit.online 23 points 4 days ago

Sounds like E. gets to have yet another round of winnings. How many times has he lost to her in court, so far? 7? 8?

[–] resipsaloquitur@lemmy.cafe 24 points 4 days ago (1 children)
[–] billwashere@lemmy.world 16 points 4 days ago (1 children)

An adult dick… just to clarify. Ya know… since he’s a pedophile.

[–] resipsaloquitur@lemmy.cafe 7 points 4 days ago (1 children)

I don't advocate anything illegal. Or immoral.

But if he chokes, he chokes.

Then we will have week-long ~~celebration~~ mourning.

[–] BeardededSquidward@lemmy.blahaj.zone 6 points 3 days ago (2 children)

I keep looking at the front page for an obituary.

"No."

"... Well alright then, just had to ask in case it was on the table."

[–] TryingToBeGood@reddthat.com 13 points 4 days ago

🤦‍♀️Fuck this guy

[–] prole@lemmy.blahaj.zone 6 points 3 days ago

I'm sure he does.

I'm sure this is true for nearly every entity that has ever lost a settlement

[–] wirebeads@lemmy.ca 9 points 4 days ago (8 children)

It took less than 10,000 people to almost overthrow the government on January 6th. A few million of you should easily be able to overthrow the tyranny that you’ve all enabled.

[–] agamemnonymous@sh.itjust.works 15 points 4 days ago

Maybe, but 1. Those 10,000 had the backing of the president (which means the military wasn't called in to stop it) and they didn't even get close to overthrowing the government, they just delayed the inevitable and 2. How do you propose millions of people organize to do something like that without law enforcement stepping in to shut it down?

This isn't the 19th century, or even the 20th. Everything is under surveillance and military power is orders of magnitude more advanced than what's available to civilians. A civilian force can maybe work defending their homes with guerilla warfare, but marching on the capitol?
