Habeck macht was, is noch nichtmal innovativ, weil andere Laender machen das schon lange, CxU kotzt rum. SPD diesmal auch, weil bald is Wahl. Manchmal moecht ich an diesem Land verzweifeln. Egal welche grosse (huestel, sry SPD ich zaehl Euch einfach nochmal dazu) Partei mitregiert, passiert nix innovatives. Gut, wenn die FDP mitmacht, eh nicht. Jahre spaeter fragen sich alle, wies so weit kommen konnte. Und alle machen alle die Merkelraute.

Thank you, added to my possible nightmares list.

The Seagate Exos in my aray consume 8-9W each on idle, and 12-13W active. I doubt that a NVME would consume that much in idle, which will be most of the time for data storage.

Raising a kid, if that is what you mean by "raising a family" is a huge drain on anyone's social battery.

It's not so much the interaction with the little bugger, although that gets to be a huge drain when they reach puberty, but for me the other associated interactions deplete my battery instantly: P.e. Being forced to be polite to kid's friends parents, teachers, others that you normally would just ignore because, tbh, most are bigot dumb fucks. I'm really happy that I can delegate many of these chores to my partner, but their batteries are also not limitless.

You should probably check out how far you can go on other irl social interactions before you start a family, and please don't just do it because others seem to like having their own little happy thing, much of that haplyness is only outwards, and many just break apart catastrophically, which may often be the hardest on the kid involved.

Yay egg whites into hot water!

Whoa, that's f* cold, but with your feedback I'm quite positive all this doomsday feedback I got can be ignored. Problem here is I'll be respnsible for uninterrupted heat and warm water for my tenants, too, so doing these calculations alone, for myself, would not bother me. But there's a ton of responsibility to care for the tenants, and I'd like a professional up for the challenge.

An uninitiated reader of your post like me would not understand what your post is about and dismiss it as ranting.

You should probably include more detail to make your point understandable without making your readers find and read a modlog, which ffs nobody will.

It was a small shop, they only had a corner with "electronic" things, some computer stuff. They probably only odered a copy or two, not believing it would sell. But it did. Remember, this must have been the 1980ies, computers were somewhat rare and exotic back then. I think I was one of two in my class who owned one.
