2. Kirby, his brain was replaced by a RAND automaton
3. Blinken, fights for the number one spot, but you can see actual pain in his eyes (not due to genocide or something, but because Biden is barely functional)

After writing this, I think 2 & 3 could easily be swapped. I forget Kirby exists, but then he comes out to tell me directly that the blood God demands blood and that's just the way it is in an inappropriate folksy tone.

Between him and Vedant Patel I cannot say my true opinions on them without fedposting. Every lib under the sun rightly called out the various trump spokespersons as lying sacks of shit but there is complete silence about these fucking ghouls lying and smiling about dead children and civilians.

Most of these people don't really connect with humanity, it's just that Miller really embodies that alienation.

I don't expect compassion or humanity from him or US officials. It's not something they even consider abhorrent; it is just completely alien and absurd to them. If you saw the reaction to that reporter saying "everyone's sick of this", and his response is "there's plenty of people giving speeches in Washington", you'd recognize that there is no concept of right or wrong, good or evil, just and unjust extant in him. It's just prestige, power, access, personal honor, and notoriety.

There were and are plenty of middle managers like that throughout fascist regimes of the past, and many liberal democracies to this day.
