What did you think the numbers meant 
I never really thought about the nature of them because I was always too distracted by the funny memes. For me it was practically decoration.

What app are you using? Jerboa respects the downvote block and just doesn't show the down arrow. It used to, but the downvote did nothing, as you've stated.
Boost, which I chose because it's what I used to use reddit on, but it's missing a few features that the main hexbear site has so ill probably switch at some point
Every app is missing main Hexbear site features. As far as I can tell, no app does custom emojis, for example. I really need to get a computer and just use Hexbear from the browser. Using the browser via phone is too painful. I'm not entirely sure using it from a computer would be less painful, but it's a start.
