In the uk "bean" is slang for 'head"

Meaning you are calling me stupid....

Which i suppose isn't really an insult, as its true.

[–] Deceptichum@quokk.au 10 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Or they’re saying you suck at sucking.

[–] Mr_Dr_Oink@lemmy.world 5 points 1 year ago

And if they are saying that, it makes me even more stupid for not thinking of that joke. :)

[–] garbagebagel@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Where I'm from bean can be a euphemism for a certain part of female genitalia, so I am insulted.

[–] Mr_Dr_Oink@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

Oh yeah! That too! Flick the bean!

[–] palordrolap@fedia.io 1 points 1 year ago

Also UK here. Since it's mostly used as the verb to mean "hit in the head", it didn't even occur to me to parse the question this way.

Perhaps that was a symptom of my own weak bean.

To shreds you say

[–] altima_neo@lemmy.zip 8 points 1 year ago

Does lentils count? Their like a weaker version of beans. I made a lentil and ham soup with the leftover Christmas ham I had. Pretty yummy.

[–] bjoern_tantau@swg-empire.de 8 points 1 year ago

I just ate peas. Take that!

[–] Asidonhopo@lemmy.world 8 points 1 year ago

You know how they say "cool beans?" Mine is lukewarm.

[–] SoupBrick@yiffit.net 8 points 1 year ago

It's bean weaker.

[–] Kolanaki@yiffit.net 7 points 1 year ago (1 children)

It's a little on the sore side.

[–] Cris_Color@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

Exactly what I'd expect from someone on the "yiffit" community >.>

I have baked beans and dried chickpeas in the house at the moment, and the baked beans are probably the weaker of my two beans, so the current status of my weak bean is "canned."

[–] seven_phone@lemmy.world 5 points 1 year ago

This week's weak bean's been Heinz.

[–] walter_wiggles@lemmy.nz 5 points 1 year ago

Mmm beaked beans

[–] ace_garp@lemmy.world 5 points 1 year ago

When I don't want an overly strong coffee, I'll grind less beans or add more water.

Less jangly, and sameish taste.

The early morning 'weak bean'.

[–] finalarbiter@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago

My name's not bean :(

[–] thefartographer@lemm.ee 3 points 1 year ago

It's likely to soon fall off

[–] dumbass@leminal.space 2 points 1 year ago

It's been oblong.
