The brain doesn't work right.

To put rape into their deck of cards to play.

To casually tell your potential victim that they are in imminent danger of being raped by them.

I've gone past disgusted to dumbfounded. I have to assume this was faked as an outrage joke, for self-defense.

Edit: changed "were in imminent danger" to "are" because you can never be safe around someone who "reasoned" themselves into raping someone.

[–] Trainguyrom@reddthat.com 7 points 1 month ago

I'd join you in believing that but I've met people who genuinely think like the above interaction

Bruh, as a guy who hasn't had sex yet, if you feel like you really need to have sex, what is so wrong about just paying a prostitute to do it with?

I've thought about it before, it's also legal here so yeah. But I've realised that I'm not mainly looking for sex, I'm mainly looking for emotional connection.

[–] Stamets@lemmy.world 37 points 1 month ago (2 children)

Literally nothing wrong with it as far as I'm concerned. I mean... I lost my virginity at a bathhouse to 30+ men so I'm not exactly the foremost expert on how to best lose your virginity but I mean... Practice makes perfect right? Anxiety is a real thing. I get it.

the world will never hear the farts you could have made.

[–] Stamets@lemmy.world 9 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Oh I can still rip ass, trust me. Kegels do a lot.

[–] locahosr443@lemmy.world 6 points 1 month ago

Yeah but I think he was grieving the lost farts from your arse..

[–] kayzeekayzee@lemmy.blahaj.zone 7 points 1 month ago (1 children)

h-huh? If you feel comfortable, please elaborate because I am so curious how something like that even happens. (It's totally okay if you want to keep that private though)

[–] Stamets@lemmy.world 16 points 1 month ago (2 children)

Well, I got an invite to go to a bathhouse for an event. I went. There was a dark room with a sling. I got in it. Many men then proceeded to get inside of me. Much fun was had.

[–] kayzeekayzee@lemmy.blahaj.zone 7 points 1 month ago

lol neat! My asexual ass could never, but I'm glad you had fun

[–] janus2@lemmy.zip 6 points 1 month ago

I'm a lesbian and i am so jealous that we don't have bathhouses

[–] agamemnonymous@sh.itjust.works 12 points 1 month ago (2 children)

what is ao wrong about just paying a prostitute to do it with?

In most places, the law. Not that I agree with it, but that is the law and most people don't want to risk prison.

[–] ArcaneSlime@lemmy.dbzer0.com 6 points 1 month ago (1 children)

But tbf, if the choice is "risk prison for hooker" and "risk prison for goddamn rape" I think the choice is clear.

[–] taxiiiii@lemmy.world 5 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago) (1 children)

at the same time, I wouldn't redirect a potential rapist to a sexworker. Shit can go incredibly wrong for her, even if he ends up paying.

[–] ArcaneSlime@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago) (1 children)

Fair, but that was the choice that was set up in the parent comment, risking prison was already a foregone conclusion.

(And the real answer to the parent comment is "because it's about control, not sex" but still)

[–] Noobnarski@lemmy.world 4 points 1 month ago

Yes, that is true, that is why I added the disclaimer that it is legal here

[–] Semi_Hemi_Demigod@lemmy.world 8 points 1 month ago

I’ve thought about doing this but then realized I have no idea where to find a prostitute. And being inexperienced I’d be afraid I’d get busted by the cops.

It’s the same reason I didn’t smoke weed until it was legal.

[–] Goretantath@lemm.ee 2 points 1 month ago

The law and money but even then you dont fucking rape someone..

Fantastic gif choice. Penn has a quote saying "I rape all I want. The amount I want to rape is zero."

[–] Albbi@lemmy.ca 25 points 1 month ago

That guy needs to be investigated. Like, to be that honest about raping someone and talk about it like it's no big deal, he's got to have done it before at least once.

[–] Vytle@lemmy.world 23 points 1 month ago

nononono this must be fake

[–] themeatbridge@lemmy.world 18 points 1 month ago

There's an alternate universe where he wasn't honest with her for a second.
