Imagine for the World Cup, hundreds thousands of tourists may already have their plane tickets and hotels reservations etc.
World Cup or not, travel to the US needs to be boycott. If they could afford tickets to such an expensive venue, they can afford to cancel those tickets. This is a country at war with the world. Stop fucking supporting them!
FIFA is considering moving a lot of the games out of the US because teams are scared of going to the US.
I'll believe it when I see it.
A few sources are citing reports that FIFA is currently considering it and possibly moving the games to Canada. There is a huge pressure on the organization based on reporting due to immigration and other issues with the US.
There isn't much but I can imagine more will come out as the information does.
Yeah, if I were a nonwhite player, I'd be worried that some TSA/ICE/CBP dude won't realize that I'm there for sports and either beat me to death or deport me to fucking Libya or something.

It’s an attempt to keep anyone who isn’t wealthy (by global standards) out of the US.
Comically, not preventing migration, just pissing off the great majority of people who might visit and spend money. So a family of 4 would pay $1000 extra. That's enough to prevent them from even booking
