[–] Evilphd666@hexbear.net 46 points 1 month ago (1 children)

He's out of ideas to boost his image so back to the not so veiled racist bans.

[–] SevenSkalls@hexbear.net 13 points 4 weeks ago (2 children)

This Epstein thing is getting pretty hot. So time to return to the old standby: unveiled racism.

[–] LeeeroooyJeeenkiiins@hexbear.net 10 points 4 weeks ago (1 children)

This Epstein thing is getting pretty hot

has anything new happened

[–] WokePalpatine@hexbear.net 9 points 4 weeks ago (1 children)

You mean outside the release of Epstein's Gmail account stuff?

Yeah I mean has there been some new "damn they're fucked" revelation though

[–] AOCapitulator@hexbear.net 3 points 4 weeks ago* (last edited 4 weeks ago)

Is it actually? Doubtful

[–] trabpukcip@hexbear.net 37 points 1 month ago (1 children)

A local food cart business owner in [my town] is from Mexico and has lived in the US for 20 years. He has a wife, 3 kids, a home, and a business with employees stateside. He was advised to return to Mexico to do an immigration interview or something (he's been trying to naturalize for 20 years), and now that he's in Mexico, he's being forbidden to return to the US. These are the people chuds don't consider "net assets"

[–] ClassIsOver@hexbear.net 30 points 4 weeks ago* (last edited 4 weeks ago) (1 children)

Chuds value racism over "net assets".

I'd gladly trade a thousand chuds for one taco truck.

[–] CountryBreakfast@lemmygrad.ml 9 points 4 weeks ago

Most tacos around here are sold by yuppies.

[–] godlessworm@hexbear.net 34 points 1 month ago

wow this made me completely forget he practically lived on epstein island

[–] unaware@hexbear.net 32 points 1 month ago

President Trump announces he discovered other worlds. tromp glorp

[–] LadyCajAsca@hexbear.net 27 points 1 month ago

I mean, he's only not letting us in if we can't be a 'net asset' which means be a laborer for someone to be extracted value from, so.. this is just making the intentions of capitalists clearer than usual...

[–] mrfugu@hexbear.net 25 points 1 month ago (1 children)

See the problem the first few times he tried this is he didn’t use the Liberal Approved Terminology™️

[–] Runcible@hexbear.net 18 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago) (2 children)

This was made almost explicitly clear during the volcel-kamala interview

I say "almost" only because both chuds and liberals refused to admit/accept that they adopted the previous administration's policies

[–] LeeeroooyJeeenkiiins@hexbear.net 18 points 4 weeks ago* (last edited 4 weeks ago) (1 children)

both chuds and liberals

The dumb fucking chud i work with to this day thinks there was literally anything different going on under the Biden presidency. He is told "the democrats were flooding the country with illegals" and that's what he "knows"

[–] SevenSkalls@hexbear.net 13 points 4 weeks ago

Look, he "feels" it. In his gut. Who are you to dismiss his lived experience, that being the hoards of immigrants edited with pictures of Mexican gangsters Fox and OAN were showing him everyday during the Biden presidency.

[–] miz@hexbear.net 11 points 1 month ago (1 children)

which interview, I've blotted it out

all because of that false flag by the CIA guy?

[–] Llituro@hexbear.net 13 points 4 weeks ago

Which is to say, all because they decided they wanted to regardless of what it took to justify it to themselves?

[–] UmmmCheckPlease@hexbear.net 21 points 1 month ago (1 children)

I’m not a net asset - please for the love of god deport me to Cuba or Jamaica so I can help with hurricane rebuilding

[–] bdonvr@thelemmy.club 13 points 1 month ago (2 children)

Flights to Cuba are pretty cheap.

Though if you're looking for real check out: https://vb4cuba.com/about-the-venceremos-brigade/

This is a US leftist group that does that sort of thing in Cuba.

[–] SevenSkalls@hexbear.net 5 points 4 weeks ago

I didn't know Karen Bass was one of them. That's actually pretty cool, and has improved my view of her.

[–] UmmmCheckPlease@hexbear.net 1 points 4 weeks ago

I am for real- thank you! Though I’d also love to vacation down there too, it would be nice to put my coastal engineering to use

[–] volcel_olive_oil@hexbear.net 19 points 1 month ago

in the same post he also wished all a happy thanksgiving

[–] SexUnderSocialism@hexbear.net 18 points 4 weeks ago (1 children)

So they're pausing migration from the US to the US?

[–] Evilphd666@hexbear.net 15 points 4 weeks ago

frothingfash THEY WANT TO KEEP US IN 15 MINUTE PRISON-CITIES!

[–] ComRed@hexbear.net 17 points 4 weeks ago (3 children)

Why would they? The US is a third world country too at this point.

[–] CountryBreakfast@lemmygrad.ml 16 points 4 weeks ago

Education and work opportunities. Most of higher education across the world is done in imperial languages because the WBG and IMF tend to hate when a vernacular is used. So college undergrad and graduate education can demand going abroad.

Further, the discourse surrounding the US as a "third world country" is quite problematic, reinforcing fallacies of progress and modernity as normative while also fear mongering that the civilized subject has become a degenerate barbarian, something that can only make sense for fascists and colonizers.

I was talking to my Lyft driver the other day. He was from Eritrea and I asked him, out of all the countries on earth to emigrate to, why did he pick the US, and not one of the emirate states, Europe, South America, etc?

He said he knows people who've gone to work in those countries, and at best, you earn enough to survive and that's it. He said in America, even the lowest wage jobs (gig work driving) pays so much better - he can afford to live and send money home.

US salaries are significantly higher then most other places, the dollar is strong (which benefits sending money back home), and the education is very well respected across the globe.

Someone take back the Statue of Liberty. France? We can't be trusted with it.

not without your slave-master permit!

[–] SorosFootSoldier@hexbear.net 10 points 4 weeks ago

He spent turkey day with his sicko family of Stephen Miller and Laura Loomer who probably recited the 14 words during grace and showed Trump their posts on /pol/.

[–] nutsack@lemmy.dbzer0.com 4 points 4 weeks ago

if like to know what this actually means
