Size 60/61 is what you probably want depending on the kind of melon, but I'm not finding anything from a quick search of ebay and the American surplus stores either. Surely there's at least one good one with the badge out there.
Yeah I measured my head and everything, so I know size 60 is the lowest i'll go... finding vintage hats is such as struggle. Specially because I live in a country where everyone has tiny heads and no ass. The ass part is unrelated to the hat search, but it's seriously disorienting living in the land of Hank Hills.

Ushankas, pins, tiny soviet or PRC memorabilia are all great. Soviet milsurp can be pretty cheap too.
Do you have a good marketplace for those? i'm in the market for an ushanka and the ones i find on vinted are ass, or some tourist-trap kind of shit with a fake-ass ussr badge.
You can find pins on temu, you might be able to find an ushanka. I know that the non-compete merch store sells an ushanka with a USSR pin you can attach to it.
Ebay or other secondhand places seem like a good spot!
You can get some communist pins and other little trinkets from AliExpress or little communist Soviet and Chinese model trains from eBay
