The form lets people reporting trans bathroom users submit up to 5 photos even though taking pictures in restrooms is illegal.

Texas’ virulently anti-trans attorney general, Ken Paxton (R), has launched a tip line that allows people to report on suspected trans people they believe are violating the state’s new bathroom ban.

In a statement announcing the tip line, Paxton said the Texas Women’s Privacy Act – which requires people in public buildings to use bathrooms based on sex assigned at birth – “was passed to ensure that women and girls in Texas are protected from mentally ill men wanting to violate their basic right to privacy.”

“It’s absolute insanity that action like this is even needed,” he claimed, “but unfortunately, in the day and age of radical leftism, it is.”

In reality, research has shown no evidence that allowing trans women access to single-sex spaces like bathrooms poses a safety risk to cisgender women.

So basically this is a way you can harass cisgender women who don't match beauty standards.

[–] ZILtoid1991@lemmy.world 11 points 3 days ago (1 children)

That's the end goal: Restoring old-fashioned gender roles.

“It’s absolute insanity that action like this is even needed,” he claimed, “but unfortunately, in the day and age of radical leftism, it is.”

“Radical leftism” is treating every person like human beings, regardless of their gender, race, religion, or income.

The age of radical leftism, when every branch of the government is lead by violent rightwing extremists.

I have (unfortunately) way too many family connections to the right, and that's their way to "cuck the left". They claim "the left" has gone too far to force them to cede grounds on things one by one. In fact they're advising new recruits to imagine, that:

  • liberals have banned christianity,
  • liberal secret police have murdered their family members without trial,
  • the moderate liberals are secretly worshipping Stalin, Satan, some infamous pedophile, etc., then to treat the opposition accordingly.

“was passed to ensure that women and girls in Texas are protected from mentally ill men wanting to violate their basic right to privacy.”

So make it legal to take pictures of women in a private place and send them to mentally ill men?

last time i checked there was a 250mb limit on attachments and you can attach up to five so feel free to flood their storage with 1gb of word docs each submission. :)

[–] Aljernon@lemmy.today 11 points 3 days ago

Creeps encouraging creepy behavior.

[–] A_Random_Idiot@lemmy.world 8 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Sounds like people need to flood the line with pictures of conservative women.

[–] s1ndr0m3@lemmy.world 4 points 3 days ago

Or just pictures of Ken Paxton and every other politician who supports this.

[–] RagingRobot@lemmy.world 9 points 3 days ago* (last edited 3 days ago)

Track down all the women related to these assholes who passed this and send in their photos. They will shut it down real fast once their mother is accused

[–] shatteredsword@lemmy.world 10 points 3 days ago

Max image size is 256MB??? 👀👀👀

[–] Wilco@lemmy.zip 10 points 3 days ago

Back in my day taking pictures in a women's restroom got you arrested ... now there is a tip line for it.

[–] slothrop@lemmy.ca 85 points 5 days ago (3 children)

What's the number? goatse might not be able to handle the load.

[–] synae@lemmy.dbzer0.com 34 points 5 days ago

A webform you say?... I wonder what little Bobby Tables would think of that...

[–] Fluke@feddit.uk 6 points 3 days ago* (last edited 3 days ago)

The modern equivalent is talking Grok, ChatGPT, et al. into filling it in and sending 5 pictures they just fabricated with each submission, repeatedly. Using every image of every right wing tart they can find online as the base image set.

[–] BigMacHole@sopuli.xyz 78 points 5 days ago (4 children)

DAMMIT! As a Mentally ill man I was in the MIDDLE of Spending HUNDREDS of THOUSANDS of Dollars to Change my Gender JUST so I can use the Same bathroom as GIRLS! But he's FOILED my Plan!

So they want right-wing pedos and creeps to creep on strangers in public spaces because... somehow doing exactly that isn't already illegal? Huh?

[–] UnderpantsWeevil@lemmy.world 9 points 4 days ago

Unironically, yes. This is a very pedo friendly government

Maralago face looks masculine.

There i said it.

I don't even know how.

Since it's pumped lips and lifted eye brows. But it makes the women look like they are men in drag but somehow super ugly.

(Cause drag queens are fabulous.)

I am totally on board for harassing conservative women with maralago or non-maralago face in the women's restroom.

I'll do my best to memorize the faces/names of local women from the heritage foundation, mothers for liberty group (or whatever they are called) and any other similar groups. Any woman wearing maga clothing (why do they advertise themselves?).

And I will 100% question them about their vagina or lack there of, while in the bathroom. I will demand to see it or threaten to call security or the police.

Let's see how they like that.

Since I'm white, short, and look and sound like a woman. I will use my pussy privilege and take on this responsibility. 😇 I promise to rise to the occasion and punish these bitches as best I can.

I've got a lot of feminist rage in me over all the b.s occurring and need an outlet. It's a win win for me personally.

I hope this gets flooded with people reporting ghouls with maralago face

[–] lemmy_outta_here@lemmy.world 8 points 4 days ago (1 children)

Maybe we can let trans people live their lives.

Instead, let’s report sex offenders. We could upload the epstein files to the tipline - apparently evety black rectangle represents a sexual assault committed by Trump.

Texas unveils "tip line" to send nonconsentual photos of naked woman to their elected officials.

[–] pachrist@lemmy.world 38 points 5 days ago* (last edited 5 days ago) (1 children)

Is Ken Paxton virulently anti-trans? Because this feels like the last ditched effort of a desparate man in a red state who lost access to his favorite porn sub-genre when Pornhub pulled out. Feels very voyeur trans scat fetish-esque to me.

Guys, guys... I've figured it out. I just need you to send me peeping Tom photos of trans folks peeing. It's so critical. And not just one or two. We need thousands, no, millions of photos. Send them to kennygmyp3nis@hotmail.com.

I’m looking forward to the invasion of privacy lawsuits that will come as a result of this.

And I hope every motherfucker that takes a single picture is publicly listed as a sex offender.

[–] Jax@sh.itjust.works 4 points 3 days ago

This is just hateful

[–] SCmSTR@lemmy.blahaj.zone 22 points 5 days ago

Yooo what the fuck?

[–] aramis87@fedia.io 31 points 5 days ago

Why is it always suspected trans women? Paxton probably uses ED pills, which are gender-affirming care, we can start there.

[–] thespcicifcocean@lemmy.world 19 points 5 days ago (2 children)

They want pics of trans women peeing? I mean, if that's what they want, send it to them

[–] cupcakezealot@piefed.blahaj.zone 7 points 4 days ago (1 children)

ken paxton got divorced because he cheated on his wife and sleeps alone now so he's gotta jerk off to something

[–] UnderpantsWeevil@lemmy.world 5 points 4 days ago

sleeps alone now

I suspect he sleeps it off surrounded by corporately financed call girls. Austin is choke full of sex workers.

[–] axexrx@lemmy.world 4 points 4 days ago

Im sure someone on here has a couple gigs to get them started....

I’m waiting to see how this blows up in their face by people just sending millions of memes and generative AI pictures inflicting a DDOS

Edit: adjusted acronym; Denial of Service or Distributed Denial of Service

[–] ristoril_zip@lemmy.zip 25 points 5 days ago

If we're doing it right they should all be AI generated trans versions of Republican leaders and podcast bros.

Is there a tip line to report a corrupt greed monster wearing human skin that is currently occupying the Texas AG office?
