On the open ocean you poop overboard. The US requires holding tanks within coastal waters, but most cruisers ignore it.

I've sailed the Atlantic many times. The swell can be huge. I was in a 144m long navy frigate and everyone was seasick when we had 14m high waves. Everything broke. We could only go straight into the direction of the swell, otherwise we would capsize.
Best of luck dude, I hope you have better weather. But you're stupid AF.
People have rowed across it so I'm not surprised if he makes it but I'm also not surprised if he dies

To me it looks like it can be completely sealed... and hopefully it's designed for auto-rolling back upright.
That being said I wouldn't want to experience the feeling of a tennis ball in a hurricane for several days should I face a storm in open water... let alone the accompanying lavatory and supply situation as well as parts such as the mast and the panels being ripped off.

In the comment article, it says it’s build to act like a buoy, and will be like a “carnival ride”. It’s also able to be fully sealed for 45 minutes at a time and has some kind of snorkel system he can use. Looks like it can be pressurized too.
Combined with the small dome for his head it looks like a CTE machine to me.
As someone who is claustrophobic, I am going anxiety from the thought of this capsule.
Yeah, I’m ok with small spaces I know I can leave, but not in the middle of an ocean.
gyro-seat! actually that's not a bad way to compensate for the excessive movement of a small object. gyro-cabin! A small boat is moved more than a large boat, this one is tiny. Imagine walking on firm ground after being shaken like an unopened soda can for a month.
