i'd ask a friend to pull the lever for me so i can be in the trolley

[–] TigerAce@lemmy.dbzer0.com 6 points 8 hours ago

Blood has a stickiness so the trolly has a better chance to make it through the loop when it crushes the people first.

[–] Pupschism@lemmy.world 35 points 18 hours ago

I would definitely pull the lever, it looks like AI designed the track to crash into itself. Is this how AI will save the world, through it's own incompetence? 😝

Fun fact: Jackie Chan's parents named him that because his dad ran a porn website similar to 4chan called Jacky Chan in the 1950s before anyone even knew the Internet was possible. Truly a family ahead of the times. It's a shame he went on to be a successful movie star.

[–] expatriado@lemmy.world 33 points 22 hours ago (1 children)

business was tough, had to close shop multiple times, but with perseverance kept trying, hence 1chan, 2chan, 3chan, and so forth

[–] baatliwala@lemmy.world 1 points 18 minutes ago

Tbh 2ch was a real thing

[–] StarvingMartist@sh.itjust.works 6 points 21 hours ago

Real answer, his original name was chang kong sang, which means born in Hong Kong

[–] SubArcticTundra@lemmy.ml 1 points 19 hours ago

Are you sure it wasnt just a site with a load of webs in it

[–] Shaper@lemmy.world 26 points 19 hours ago (1 children)

I'd pull the lever cause it's going to derail on that u-turn for sure

[–] cows_are_underrated@feddit.org 5 points 14 hours ago

Very optimistic, that it will even make it through the loop.

[–] SillyDude@lemmy.zip 45 points 20 hours ago

I'd haunt you and your ancestors for a thousand years if your bitch ass didn't pull that lever and let me die without seeing some sick ass shit.

[–] altphoto@lemmy.today 22 points 19 hours ago

Yes! The trolley would get stuck on the way down as it hits the first set of rails.

[–] sompreno@lemmy.zip 16 points 21 hours ago (2 children)

There's always a chance it doesn't clear the loop

[–] Diddlydee@feddit.uk 20 points 20 hours ago* (last edited 20 hours ago) (1 children)

That is a very high chance based on what we see, given that it is physically too large to make it.

[–] athatet@lemmy.zip 11 points 20 hours ago (1 children)

Nah the loop is further away so the trolly is gonna be smaller by the time it gets there.

[–] Lost_My_Mind@lemmy.world 3 points 18 hours ago

This is how physics work.

[–] PodPerson@lemmy.zip 3 points 19 hours ago (2 children)

Is there a chance the track could bend?

[–] Teppa@lemmy.world 1 points 26 minutes ago

Not on your life my hindu friend.

[–] Lost_My_Mind@lemmy.world 1 points 18 hours ago (1 children)

There's a chance of anything at any time.

For example, yesterday there were tornados here. A lot of people lost power. I live in an apartment building.

Floors 1-4 have power. Floors 5-7 no power. I can't explain HOW that's possible, but clearly there was a chance.

[–] theneverfox@pawb.social 1 points 32 minutes ago

Apartment buildings have multiple circuits that connect to the grid. Sometimes my power partially goes out, so like these outlets work but those don't, because there's three circuits and one tends to break first

[–] LORDSMEGMA@sh.itjust.works 18 points 21 hours ago (1 children)

Shit, that would give me enough time to dive on the tracks right in front of the 5 people

[–] WhyIHateTheInternet@lemmy.world 5 points 20 hours ago (1 children)
[–] oxysis@lemmy.blahaj.zone 2 points 18 hours ago

That’s what they are doing

[–] Imgonnatrythis@sh.itjust.works 8 points 19 hours ago

Seems unethical not to.

[–] altasshet@lemmy.ca 8 points 20 hours ago (1 children)
[–] Lost_My_Mind@lemmy.world 1 points 18 hours ago

Not for the people watching at home on pay per view!

[–] ayyy@sh.itjust.works 2 points 14 hours ago

Do a kickflip!

[–] mgenehoffman@sh.itjust.works 6 points 19 hours ago

Hell yeah loop de loop

[–] Gork@sopuli.xyz 7 points 21 hours ago* (last edited 21 hours ago)

Hell yeah 😎

[–] smuuthbrane@sh.itjust.works 7 points 22 hours ago

In the words of Kite Man, "Hell yeah!"

[–] FinjaminPoach@lemmy.world 5 points 21 hours ago (1 children)

Also Builds momentum meaning their death is over quicker.

[–] ilillilillilillililli@lemmy.world 4 points 20 hours ago* (last edited 20 hours ago) (1 children)

Loops take momentum, they don't add it. But I also don't want to be called a physics nerd and get my lunch money stolen.

[–] FinjaminPoach@lemmy.world 2 points 10 hours ago

ur right ur right, i was being videogame brained.

The loop and the many little turns may reduce momentum enough to save some people, depending on how fast the trolley was already going

[–] paransol@piefed.blahaj.zone 4 points 21 hours ago

increase passengers adrenalime via loop first

[–] Botanicals@lemmy.world 3 points 20 hours ago
[–] HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world 1 points 16 hours ago

Only if the trolley does a kickflip on the way too

[–] Danarchy@lemmy.nz 1 points 17 hours ago

I remember this level in Tony hawk
