Considering there are so few black people in the GQP that they kept running his account even after that, I'd say someone made the decision to keep downplaying covid on his page and didn't care about the optics.

Could you imagine being this actor (Terry Kiser)?

I read Kiser ended up with 3 cracked ribs and some nerve issues that took a while to heal from his neck flopping around so much. He more than earned his paycheck.
