Literally trying to TERRORIZE Americans into compliance. Ice is a terrorist organization

[–] sportsjorts@lemmy.zip 6 points 1 hour ago

Fuck this weeb. Only way you will shut my mouth is murdering me in cold blood like ice does to everyone else fucking Nazi scum.

I find I don't need to read Philip K Dick novels anymore, I just watch the world...

[–] nosuchanon@lemmy.world 1 points 1 hour ago

Time to rewatch a scanner darkly. I need one of those suits.

[–] theacharnian@lemmy.ca 11 points 21 hours ago* (last edited 21 hours ago) (1 children)

His full phrase was

“It all goes back to the Dems who want to continually attack ICE and tell people to evade them, tell people don't comply, tell people to resist, and tell people ICE isn’t a real law enforcement,” Homan said. “There's still going to be more bloodshed unless they shut their mouth and let ICE enforce the laws that they enacted.

Umm, can we talk about that very last bit?

[–] savvie@lemmy.zip 1 points 34 minutes ago

First Amendment, anyone? Fellow Yanks??

[–] cmbabul@slrpnk.net 5 points 22 hours ago (1 children)

That second one is rapidly declining in potential effectiveness

[–] electric_nan@lemmy.ml 6 points 22 hours ago (1 children)

The ballot box is what brought us here. Every election for decades has resulted in more cops and more surveillance.

[–] Nouvellalia@lemmy.world 8 points 22 hours ago

We have more cops in America now per capita than nazi Germany had at the height of WWII, and that's including all the gestapo, SS, and military police in the German count. DC has an enforcer with a gun and no consequences for every 60 people.

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 24 points 1 day ago

This dickhead still has not had consequences for taking 50K in that bribery sting, right?

Anyway, this is some classic DARVO shit right here.

[–] kreskin@lemmy.world 24 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Looks like a good justification for any interaction with ICE being an exercise in self defense. He just upended ICE's legal basis for being held to be law abiding by any reasonable person. On top of being fascist, what an inept dipshit.

[–] electric_nan@lemmy.ml 2 points 22 hours ago

None of that matters.

[–] ryokimball@infosec.pub 134 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Jesus fucking Christ. The article is worse than I thought. "Our guys are scared for their lives! Even though we are the ones doing all the murdering, we will have to murder even more of you if you don't start obeying us, though our instructions are clear as mud and we aren't even following our own laws!"

[–] hopesdead@startrek.website 84 points 1 day ago (4 children)

So basically shut up and let us keep breaking the law or you die.

And the law breaking includes making people die. Also don't be anywhere near a live ICE because they might just do things like break into your home and that's your fault somehow.

Ah, "this is your fault" stage of abuse.

“It all goes back to the Dems who want to continually attack ICE and tell people to evade them, tell people don't comply, tell people to resist, and tell people ICE isn’t a real law enforcement,” Homan said. “There's still going to be more bloodshed unless they shut their mouth and let ICE enforce the laws that they enacted.”

[–] huppakee@lemmy.world 33 points 1 day ago (1 children)

“There's still going to be more bloodshed unless they shut their mouth and let ICE enforce the laws that they enacted.”

Obviously never going to happen, but i bet if the Dems did shut their mouth the bloodshed will continue as planned.

[–] lilacintheshade@lemmy.zip 14 points 1 day ago

“And so I come full circle on this response and just want to encourage you with some substance that we are in the process of the second American Revolution, which will remain bloodless if the left allows it to be.”

The midterms will decide whether it is a troubled peace or a violent war that defines the next era of America.

I will keep speaking, and if it comes down to it, bear arms against tyrants.

[–] Jaysyn@lemmy.world 38 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (4 children)

Fuck you Homan, you're going to die in a cell in the Hague. This statement will be played back for you at your trial.

Victim’s families should use this as evidence they do this on purpose.

[–] gAlienLifeform@lemmy.world 77 points 1 day ago (2 children)

There will be more bloodshed until Democratic lawmakers and like-minded people abolish ICE

[–] Sunflier@lemmy.world 5 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

I'm honestly surprised how meek the resistance has been. Would have expected a driveby or two at least somewhere at some point over the last 2 years. Nope! No randos have just gone up to an ICE guy and popped them in the head. Makes sense for Stepford, but ICE in the hood?

“I’m scared to death because assaults with vehicles are sky high. There’s been a lot of shootings. I’m scared to death that one of these days, our ICE officers aren’t going to be quick enough. The bad guys can be quicker,” Homan told Fox News’ Laura Ingraham Wednesday night.

Playing the victim…presumption of guilt…claims with no evidence…yay fascism…

[–] partial_accumen@lemmy.world 17 points 1 day ago

"The bad guys can be quicker,” Homan told Fox News’ Laura Ingraham Wednesday night.

"...this is why we have to shoot innocent people dead before they do anything illegal just to be sure ICE is safe". - Homan probably

So he's literally saying the beatings will continue until morale improves‽

[–] CileTheSane@lemmy.ca 4 points 23 hours ago

No, he's literally saying "the murders will continue"

Full stop.

[–] whereitsat@lemmy.zip 1 points 21 hours ago (1 children)

maybe this is a radical take, but i think it's funny that they call someone 'the border czar' with a straight face and then he doesn't even look like a hardass. he looks like some random fat dude that's melting from age, wearing a likely expensive suit that gives the impression it's an off the rack ensemble purchased at the men's wearhouse at a steep discount.

a perfect symbol for america.

stop worrying about it. these people already lost.

[–] savvie@lemmy.zip 1 points 32 minutes ago

a mumbling Homan-culus

That's a threat and he should be referred to the Capitol police.

So protesting and calling out their crimes and sharing video and making a racket must not be as pointless as some would have us all believe, because Tom Homan himself is desperate to shut it down.

The LAST fucking thing any sentient human being should do is shut their mouth against these murders and crimes against humanity.

Anyone who cares enough to yell, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

[–] SnarkoPolo@lemmy.world 1 points 23 hours ago (1 children)

This is our future. There's no revolution coming. No one will stop it. Get used to it and try not to get turned in by your MAGA neighbor.

[–] stringere@sh.itjust.works 14 points 1 day ago (3 children)

“There's still going to be more bloodshed unless they shut their mouth and let ICE enforce the laws that they enacted.”

They who, Tom? They fucking who? Because ICE is not a legislative body and cannot enact laws.

Even if he's implying immigration laws enacted by congress, those laws do not have death as a punishment for ANY violations.

Shout-out to Obama for giving us this guy.

[–] kreskin@lemmy.world 8 points 1 day ago

From Homan's wikipedia:

"By 2014, under the Obama administration, Homan began to argue that separating children from their caregivers would be an effective way to discourage illegal border crossings. The journalist Caitlin Dickerson has called him the "intellectual father" of the policy, which he outlined years before the Trump administration adopted it. "Most parents don't want to be separated", Homan told Dickerson. He argued that this makes separation an effective tool for immigration enforcement: "I'd be lying to you if I didn't think that would have an effect."[9]

In 2015, the Obama administration awarded him a Presidential Rank Award as a Distinguished Executive."

I cant beleive Obama appointed him and gave him an award after he suggested separating kids from their parents. Just monstrous. Eff you for that one, Barack.
