"What Meta is doing is it is incentivizing [users] to find issues that people believe in deeply, that people feel deeply aggrieved about, and to manipulate those audiences for profit. Meta has a responsibility to enforce its authenticity and monetization rules."

Fine them until they do so. Lord knows we wont' block Meta.

Make the fine so gobsmacking that it hurts them enough to the point where they seriously ponder wether they’ll ever recover from that.

Make the corporation feel like its revenue sources are mortally wounded, or will be if they get hit again.

This is how they will stop.

Otherwise, a "10 million settlement" merely becomes the operating cost of doing "business".

Make the fine a percentage of voting stock for each infraction. Too many infractions and a perpetrator has voluntarily donated their organization to the country it violated.
