Why do the good kennedy's die, and the bad ones live for fucking ever.

[–] frezik@midwest.social 6 points 1 day ago (1 children)

The good Kennedy's weren't that good.

not so fun fact, rfk jr drove one of his family members to alcoholism and heroin, by bullying him.

[–] Ledericas@lemm.ee 2 points 23 hours ago

[–] Bacano@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago (2 children)

They encouraged class consciousness? How so?

I thought they got wiped cause they wanted to stop using the central banks, but never really looked into them

JFK flipped on the mob (who claims they killed him, but they are known for saying stuff) he wanted to shut down the CIA and possibly the FBI, He was clearing out the nut parade in the joint cheifs who were seriously suggesting to a WWII war hero that maybe indiscriminately bombing the US as a pretext to war was a great idea! He was also making in roads with Russia behind the scenes, and he had signed the withdraw papers to end The Vietnam War by the time he was assassinate. I don't know who killed him, but I can tell you it was a busy week for the large amount of people that would greatly benifit from his sudden demise.

He started pushing for worker friendly regulations and enabling general strikes before he was assassinated.

Executive Order 10988 is a United States presidential executive order issued by President John F. Kennedy on January 17, 1962 that granted federal employees the right to collective bargaining. This executive order was a breakthrough for public sector workers, who were not protected under the 1935 Wagner Act. Passage of the executive order forestalled the legislative Rhodes-Johnson Union Recognition bill, which would have given more power to federal employee unions, possibly creating a union shop arrangement. Executive Order 10988 was effectively replaced by President Richard Nixon's Executive Order 11491 in 1969.

MLK was also pushing for a general strike before he was assassinated.

Not as big a deal, but he also wants to get rid of your WiFi and your cell phone:

Departing momentarily from fake vaccine claims, the gang also had a long discussion about the purported dangers of wifi. Children’s Health Defense, the anti-vaccine organization that Kennedy founded and is the chairman of, has long made a number of false claims about electromagnetic, wireless, and 5G technologies. Kennedy suggested that “wifi radiation” could be causing autism, food allergies, asthma, eczema, or other chronic illnesses, which Rogan, in a rare show of basic critical thinking, suggested was “unlikely.”

“I think it degrades your mitochondria and it opens your blood-brain barrier,” Kennedy said, confidently.

Rogan paused and then turned to his producer, Jamie, who often acts as the show’s researcher by Googling things. “Do you see anything online about that?” he asked. After a moment in Google, Rogan paused again.

“Oh my God,” he said, finally, “we gotta get rid of wifi.”

Too bad Joe Rogan is such an idiot. I would have asked RFK Jr. to define mitochondria. It would have made for amusing listening.

Rogan is such a brainless ape, he is the prime example of an idiot who will believe everything he reads on FB. I lose hope in humanity every time I see his podcast at the top of the charts.

I had to deal with so many of those people who insisted that their 'wifi' radiation is like an unshielded nuclear reactor. I would do my best to assauge their concerns... I was in customer service at the time.

Now seeing someone like that in a very important position I find myself wondering if there is even a point to all this.

[–] randon31415@lemmy.world 4 points 1 day ago

I have a feeling that people are starting subconsciously understand cell-phone and social media additiction and its effect on the brains of developing children, but can't quite conceptualize it. So they turn to "wifi is dangerous because.... radiation!"

[–] rektdeckard@lemmy.world 11 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Easy, they're the powerhouse of the cell.

Speaking as someone with ADHD: This would have been the most darkly humorous time to use the phrase "Concentration Camp"

[–] iowagneiss@midwest.social 15 points 2 days ago (1 children)

I shared this with my wife, who takes Adderall, and your comment is going to finally pull her away from Reddit to Lemmy. Thank you for your service.

[–] Avg@lemm.ee 10 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Jokes are funny and don't have a nuclear arsenal.

[–] frezik@midwest.social 2 points 1 day ago

"When you're rich, they let you do it."

[–] ameancow@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago

Every time someone points out hypocrisy in this "administration" I want to smash my own skull through a marble table.

Yes, they are massive hypocrites, they didn't win leadership despite this fact, they won leadership BECAUSE of this fact. They appealed to the hateful while driving away the moderates and less engaged people by shitting in the political well. The people who voted these shitsacks into office are our nation's most hateful, hypocritical idiots who see someone above the law as an "alpha" and will praise him every time he does something inconsistent, because they see it enrage normal, decent people and they consider that "winning."

[–] Madison420@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago

Yeah and they were actively pushing drugs on soldiers and pilot while actively putting "drug addicts/addled" people in concentration camps.
