The protesters who picked them up and threw them back got charged with Assault With a Deadly Weapon.

That's fascinating. So is there precedent on the books now that a tear gas canister flying through the air is a deadly weapon? Because that could potentially be used against cops.
If any protester lost their defence, that could be precedent...
The very first thing these morons did in my city was shoot a pastor in the face with a pepper ball, at damn near point blank.

That’s not a pepper ball gun, that a tear gas launcher. He took a tear gas canister to the face.
Whatever it was, I’m reasonably sure that you’re not supposed to shoot the clergy in the face with it from 5 feet away.

Yeah, this was when ICE deployed to the Bay Area a few weeks ago. Then they pulled out. I imagine the tech oligarchs pulled some strings.
