Who the fuck is 11-15??? Only a complete masochist leaves the girls belted in for sleep.

[–] papalonian@lemmy.world 28 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

leaves the girls belted in

If I'm ever in a relationship again, I'm finding a way to drop this line. That's hilarious.

If I’m ever in a relationship again

I could learn from that optimism.

[–] Suru@mander.xyz 19 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago)

Definitely went with 14 or 15 when I was breastfeeding, because the girls tended to leak. Nobody wants to sleep in sheets that smell like sour milk.

[–] Gerudo@lemmy.zip 7 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

My wife says it's uncomfortable not having yhem belted in

[–] Blackmist@feddit.uk 8 points 2 weeks ago

Mine uses a pillow to keep them apart. I assume they fight at night.

20 at home, 18 when away.

My life progression so far.

  • 3 Pre-teens
  • 18 Teens
  • 16 Early Twenties (six pack days)
  • 20 ~24-47 (more like a keg for most of it)
  • 2 in summer 1 in winter From age 47 to today because I moved to Wyoming and sleeping naked gets chilly. Six pack is back, which is nice.

18 doesn't matter if it's hot or cold. Oh and also the fan running on high.

20, why would I get all dressed up just to go to bed?

[–] daannii@lemmy.world 13 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Most women don't sleep in bras. Or as I call them "titty jail".

[–] billwashere@lemmy.world 5 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Hell my wife takes hers off as soon as she gets home with this weird yoga magic trick thing where she never removes her shirt. I swear it breaks physics.

Why are the bras all different? Why are the bottom options for 6-10 different from the others? Why are 8 and 9 basicaly the same? This feels somehow AI generated

List is incomplete. It seems to assume a relatively warm climate or expensive use of night-time home heating.

Thus: Long sleeves. Underwear under long trousers perhaps for sanitary purposes, but possibly for comfort.

There's probably also a few people who have socks they wear to bed if not also blindfolds or old-timey nightcaps, but I get why those things aren't in this graphic. Lack of long sleeves is more of a head-scratcher.

[–] Mr_Fish@lemmy.world 5 points 2 weeks ago (3 children)

Solution: more blankets. Where I grew up we had regular frosts all through winter, but I never really went with anything more than 18. 2-3 blankets and a thick duvet does a lot for keeping you warm.

20 is the best. Sleeping naked is the best way to sleep for me. Especially in summer when i don't need to use blanket or any other cover.

  1. Occasionally 9. I can't imagine sleeping in a bra, that seems dreadfully uncomfortable.
[–] Dicska@lemmy.world 8 points 2 weeks ago (2 children)

I wouldn't sleep with a bra, either. It's just an unnecessary layer, preventing my skin from breathing properly. The straps would also be just in the way. I'm a cis male, though.
