Cis people are truly unable to conceive of people (cis or trans) who don't strictly adhere to gender roles and it shows.

There is often a link between how people talk about socialisation and priveledge. Oftentimes, these experiences are reflected by whiteness and not being poor. Other factors include neurodivergence.

I never got catcalled, wore feminine clothing or make up, or had agroup of friends with solely women in it, or related to women at all. The only time I got SAd was by another girl. To someone who is poor, keeping up with trends or having makeup may not be something they experienced at a young age. There are other examples on how lack of priveledges exasterbate experiences.

There is no "AFAB" experience. The whole point about ASAB is that it's quite arbitrary to how someone acts, feels and experiences things.

ha. it doesn't end after school. at least my group of rejects/fuckups in school owned it and had fun.

now it's just dealing with dumb reactionary normies every day all day at the fucking office. so even worse.

sometimes i hate it so hard, fuck this shitty world.

Better than my autism friend group at school. They all had a burning desire to fit in with the normals and so would frequently abandon me to enter one of those groups and then just sit there and take the onslaught of bullying. Not me tho im too cool for that (i was like the top 1 freak in the whole school)

When people ask me this question I tell them that I was raised on a principle: From each according to their ability, to each according to their needs.

Then they tell me "Why do you have to bring politics into everything?"

Excuse me, why do you have to make everything about gender???

i fucking hate the "what you were raised as" trans femme exclusionary bullshit so goddamn much. Honestly I wish I even had people talking to me when I was 14 but I was stuck with the stain of being the weird fucked up special ed kid and nobody would touch me with a 10 foot pole, and now as a grown ass woman I get closeted TERFs casually excluding me with "but you weren't raised as..." when I was 8 I wanted to kill myself from how socially alienated and physically abused I was. EIGHT. And instead of trying to connect with another woman, you drive her away because she still has the "bad vibes" of the penis she never asked for and instead try and suck up to trans men? frick off

Real shit. I was not "raised as a girl" I was seen as a gender deviant and treated as such. You can't make me transphobic over my childhood experiences.

I've had medical professionals pull this on me then assume I wore heels, dresses etc all the time when really I never learned to put on makeup and I wore heels like maybe 3 times in all my life.

Growing up I didn't fit in anywhere, I was just the weird kid and that was it, some things don't change.
