What "culture"? Being thuggish fascist executioners, never showing their faces and exclusively wearing the latest in tacticool mall-ninja fashion?

[–] panda_abyss@lemmy.ca 100 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (1 children)

By culture they mean being white

It’s a racist call for nazis.

Simple. They wish to further the culture created by the Butcher of Nazareth, as depicted by Jacek Piekara.

When Jesus came down from the cross, He made good on His threat to get revenge. The entire city of Jerusalem was exterminated by His hand. He made sure that everyone knew that mercy is a sin of the highest order.

Therefore, to avoid committing the sin of mercy, and risking Jesus' wrath, ICE must show cruelty and brutality to those they deem traitors and infidels. Jesus' revenge demands that all who oppose Him be tortured to death. To do otherwise would be a lapse in faith.

So "defending your own culture" is shooting white ladies in their car when they are dropping off their kid?

[–] FreshParsnip@lemmy.ca 21 points 1 day ago

So the Untied States is at war? With itself?

In the beginning of 2025 I compared the Trump regime to Nazi Germany in 1933. My family said I was exaggerating. Now I would go one step further, and not only compare the two, but say that Trump's regime is exactly* like Hitler's in '33. Or maybe it's already like '38.

* that's hyperbole. I mean "has identical features and many striking similarities".

[–] Taldan@lemmy.world 42 points 1 day ago (5 children)

If you call it out before it happens, they call you alarmist. If you point it out afterwards, they've already normalized it

I guarantee if you described this week's killing to conservatives even a few months ago, they would have said ICE would never do that, and they'd be against it if it happened. Now that it happened, they have accepted and normalized it

I'm afraid of this regime. I fear I will face repercussions for speaking out against the Trump regime. I'm going to do it anyway, louder than ever before. Fuck fascism

[–] notwhoyouthink@lemmy.zip 5 points 1 day ago (1 children)

They’re not just normalizing it, they’re celebrating it.

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago

Wouldn't surprise me if Orange Jesus gave the Presidential Medal of Freedom to that murderous piece of shit.

[–] jjjalljs@ttrpg.network 6 points 1 day ago (1 children)

They're not engaging with facts. That's a whole other plane that doesn't intersect. It's just feelings and in-group.

When you point it out early, you're disparaging the in-group so that must be rejected. When you point it out after... You're still disparaging the in-group so that must be rejected.

That's all there is to it.

[–] A_Random_Idiot@lemmy.world 5 points 1 day ago

They don't care about facts.

THey don't care about engagement.

They just care about their power, and pissing off those that criticize them.

Thats why they sit there and smile and spout blatantly obvious bullshit in response to facts and evidence.

Because watching you provide a solid argument that they can derail with the most heinous made up bullshit is amusing to them. Pissing you off is amusing to them.

The whole things a game to them.

From the Wikipedia page about elections in 1933 Germany:

The resources of big business and the state were thrown behind the Nazis' campaign to achieve saturation coverage all over Germany. Brownshirts and SS patrolled and marched menacingly through the streets of cities and towns. A "combination of terror, repression and propaganda was mobilized in every... community, large and small, across the land".[1]: 339  Irene von Goetz wrote, "In a decree issued on 17 February 1933, Göring ordered the Prussian police force to make unrestrained use of firearms in operations against political opponents (the so-called Schießerlass, or shooting decree)".[4]

To ensure a Nazi majority in the vote, Nazi organisations also "monitored" the vote process. In Prussia, 50,000 members of the SSSA and Der Stahlhelm were ordered to monitor the votes as so-called deputy sheriffs or auxiliary police (Hilfspolizei) in another decree by acting Interior Minister Hermann Göring.[4]

Does this remind you of anything? Anything at all? See you in November.

[–] Bazell@lemmy.zip 25 points 1 day ago

It reminds me that people don't like learning history. That is why it often repeats itself.

Why don't they just run a recruitment ad with The Fourteen Words and get it over with.We know they want to, because it'd attract the kind of people they're catering to.
