There's nothing passive aggressive here. In fact, the entire message is quite direct in its message.
The title case on Professional Boundaries Exist for a Reason is somehow the funniest part to me. It's all set for !fakebandnames@lemmy.world.
Combined with the various bold statements and it paints quite a picture of just how controlling this person is.
Is this a new meme format? I've seen several of these in the last couple of days all with them inferring all sorts of craziness by "Faith" from the rationale professor.
I'm no expert, but it might be a meme that escaped LinkedIn.

And then there's my friend's supervisor who asked her why she didn't include her boyfriend in the dedication since he knew he drove her to her research site few times
Time for a new supervisor.
Committee members for supervising thesis and dissertations are normally locked once you submit the committee form. There are no changing them unless it is under extreme circumstances. We are talking circumstances like death, retirement, and pending legal issues. Otherwise, things like scheduling, professional conflicts, and personality differences are not acceptable reasons. Sucks for OOP for being stuck with a shitty person.
Sounds like Dr Kilimo is jelly, and striking back the only way she knows how: professionally.
