Yes, it is actually a very dangerous sport because it's played by fragile old people who are out of shape or struggling to stay in shape play it and so it's easy for them to just like fall and receive irreparable injuries or simply dislodge blood clots from the exertion leading to a heart attack or stroke.

What even is the conspiracy angle, that the Mossad wanted to whack a geriatric scammer who's exploited and endangered countless teenage girls? Like I'd think if that guy were to be assassinated it would have been some aggrieved dad out for revenge over his daughter dying/being crippled/getting abused in the programs that guy founded and he would have just walked up and started blasting in a big loud show of dominance and rage that affirms his ego.

We got access to an indoor gym in the winter and setup pickleball. Something everyone can play and it's not expensive. Then uncoördinated people and older people started showing up, and holy shit the clumsy folk made us decide to get waivers. Perfectly fit people just eating shit like they're paid by the turd. I've never realised what a boon having normal reaction time and balance is. I would give up every other privilege to keep this one that I now hold so dear.

Specifically he made a show for them, out of a closet, that got decently popular. So, they were going to give him a new show with a bigger budget, called something like Agitprop.

That show was cancelled before it really got off the ground, because Hasan made his "America Deserved 9/11" comment, and Cenk paraded out Hasan to explain himself in a bizarre attempt at what felt like a humiliation ritual.

So after that, Hasan bailed from TYT and started doing his own thing on Twitch. Now that he's bigger than TYT ever was, Cenk seems incredibly jealous. And the "network, such as it exists, has been making these strange right wing pivots in order to try and garner a new audience, and its not working.

It's only just started to dawn on me that, I think it's possible that Cenk's entrance into conspiracy theory shit may be his stupid way of trying to recapture Hasan's popularity. Cenk doesn't really understand why TYT ever gained a following to begin with, because he isn't a Marxist, and he doesn't understand why Hasan is popular. I suspect that, from Cenk's perspective, Hasan is just a lucky conspiracy theorist, Cenk thinks he can tap into that just by 'getting wacky with it' or something. He has no framework of understanding to understand that Hasan doesn't just shoot from the hip and land on takes by vibes.
