It's like they're speedrunning the removal or reduction of all revenue sources except liquidation of assets.

I'd be more accepting of this line of reasoning, if they'd actually gone after the large corporations and high-net-worth individuals successfully in the past. People like the dude behind the panama papers dodge/avoidance got off scott-free, as have most people in those files. Companies like cameco successfully defended a massive tax avoidance scheme/loophole abuse against CRA attempts to recover funds -- and we rewarded cameco by having carney get them a sweet deal to sell a ton of uranium to india.... likely while still dodging those taxes.

If you're going to whine about the cuts impacting taxation of the rich, you should prolly have gone after the rich while you had those staff..... rather than the reality, where they just hit the poor/middle class, cause those are easier targets that don't have enough money to defend themselves/dodge taxes properly.
