RIP. I recommend the entire "Sam Neill loses his shit" trilogy (Possession / In the Mouth of Madness / Event Horizon)
i had not heard of or seen Posession... but loved the other 2.

it's a tough-at-times but rewarding watch. anticipate a lot of shrieking.
The Wilderpeople is really good too. That one's the inverse though, where he un loses his shit and helps out an aboriginal kid.

What's wrong with Waititi? I enjoy his movies.
He signed that Zionist "no hostage left behind letter," so he undeniably sucks ass (so do many of his movies, like Thor Love and Thunder lol). I like What We Do in the Shadows a lot, though.
JoJo rabbit was alright. I also don't count Marvel slop towards or against a director since, ya know, you gotta get paid.
He made a decent Marvel slop buddy comedy, so I think Love and Thunder can count against him lol.
Never saw it lol, I totally forgot he did Marvel stuff tbh. I just watch his regular movies and can't really think of one of those I dislike
