Toadlet sounds like the evolved form insult of toad.
"That guy is such a toadlet, gives me the creeps."
As opposed to
So like...they did this on Wednesday on purpose, right my dudes?
It instantly became a wednesday the moment they published it.
Was a thursday before, and now everyone has to work an extra day. Those toad guys are weird 🙄
They completely missed the opportunity to say a new frog was spotted. My disappointment is imeasurable, and my day is ruined.
Probably theyre just dappling in biology.
That may be the case, and I don't want to make light of the situation, or cast shade on their headline writing abilities, but I wanted to make a point that there was a better option.

Weird, I though toads were endemic to the Americas for some reason
(But they’re on every continent except Antarctica so wtf do I know)
That one on the bottom left looking like James Toad asking for a Martini to be shaken (which is the default method)
Default method used to be stirring, some people claim that shaking bruises the gin and ruins the flavor. It tastes like pinesol to me either way.
