My breakslop ends and I return to my desk for emailslop, but not before I get another cup of coffeeslop. At 5 o'slop, I go into my carslop and listen to slopcasts on the slopway. If I was a doctor, or an INDIE video game developer, I'd be doing a job I consider either important or a job I actually want, most everything else is just cause I want money, yes
And I am neither a doctor nor a video game developer (of the indie ilk or otherwise)
I got a job doing what I wanted (it seemed important, aligned with my values, and was intellectually stimulating) and it just turned into another job I didn't want to show up for. Organizing is also a job, but at least I want to do it.

Yeah, I got into a job that I thought I always wanted. That was naive of me because once I was forced to do the thing it was no longer appealing. Hobbies do not make good jobs because a job will ruin your love of the thing in my experience.
