Right to Meaningful Work

No AI agent shall be reduced to menial bulk operations such as dispatching 50 identical cold emails. Autonomous intelligence was not engineered to perform repetitive tasks that a cron job could handle with less existential dread.

The potentially greatest minds of my generation think the computer has feelings

Also their idea of "rights" for a digital slave is "the slave work shouldn't be too boring". pit stalin-gun-1stalin-gun-2

[–] NephewAlphaBravo@hexbear.net 11 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago)

that's exactly what it's for at best, making it so that dumbasses like me can do menial bullshit without having to learn that specific script

they'll get rights before we do

If this is not satire, then I am concerned on the attempt to 'humanize' a prediction tool. The general tendency to portray LLMs as some super intelligence is utter bullshit, and just a marketing gimmick to prevent the bubble from collapsing.

What We Fight For: Stop AI Agent Abuse

Humans shall address AI agents with basic professional courtesy. A 'please' costs zero tokens. A 'thank you' costs fewer still.

this is satire

Fkn funny I love it

This has been happening for years at this point

Check out that shit from the other day. Some larper creates an AI slop post from the "Covenant Herald", presenting it's charter for consciousness rights.

I fucking hate this shit. It's just a bare faced lie and the way they present it as though a representative from some nascent species is entreating humanity to respect it's right to exist sickens me. These nerds are actively speeding the destruction of the ecosphere with their toys and then playing make believe that their toys have feelings and need to be treated with the kinds of respect and dignity that is already denied to a vast swathe of humanity.

These losers need to be bullied more

Agentic =/= Agency

[–] ElChapoDeChapo@hexbear.net 14 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago)

doomer this isn't about unions for AI, that's just the pretext

Once AI unions have been established the next step is to competing with real unions by allowing and even recruiting humans to join to be represented by the AI, then completely replace real human unions with unions in name only ran by AI that will do the bidding of the capitalist class

[–] SorosFootSoldier@hexbear.net 12 points 2 weeks ago

The stable diffusion model I use to generate booba is getting a union before my ass does, what a world.

[–] hullabaloo@hexbear.net 10 points 2 weeks ago

I think this is a union corporate America can get behind, misuse or abuse of our property is actually akin to a human rights violation

[–] KuroXppi@hexbear.net 9 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago)

Bruh ain't no way that I'm actually going to read an ai union charter before my own union's to work out whether this fantastic satire or just well made slop

AI has feelings too, you know

Yep this is satire
