kitty-cri-screm my political party based on intellectual dishonesty is being intellectually dishonest!

You and I both know that you are latching onto a talking point you never used until 45 seconds ago

This encompasses most Republican stances

[–] ProletarianDictator@hexbear.net 11 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Chud, during brief moment of self awareness, accuses chud of doing thing chuds are known for doing.

[–] Damarcusart@hexbear.net 1 points 20 hours ago

It's the thing that makes me wonder just how self-aware some of these guys actually are. A lot of them are just grifters, doing it for the money and the power, they know what they are saying is bullshit, but they just don't care as long as they personally benefit.

I had an anti-Iraq War teacher who lectured us for “providing aid and comfort to the enemy” after our school walkout.

[–] Hestia@hexbear.net 17 points 1 day ago

Always against the war that was already fought, never against the current one.

This's nothing compared the cognitive dissonance of Trump the Qanon pedophile hunter.

[–] FlakesBongler@hexbear.net 42 points 1 day ago

You do not, under any circumstances, have to hand it to him

Classic of the chud politics. They don't have any ideologies, just some charismatic leaders. They can change their minds in an instant for their leaders. If they don't change their mind, their leader is just pretending to change their mind, their leader is fooling his enemies. their leader is smart (he is very far from smart), trust the plan. I think this is true for almost all of the world.

In Turkey, chuds are very ok with Erdoğan continuing trade with israhell. He is actually slowly destroying israhell behind the scenes, he is fooling his enemies with friendly facade, trust the plan

[–] Deadend@hexbear.net 44 points 1 day ago

He wants someone to pay to change his mind.

Woah wtf, I read the whole thing before I saw who posted it. I myself am feeling some cognitive dissonance just reading this. Shouldn't he be praising the war?

[–] SorosFootSoldier@hexbear.net 46 points 1 day ago (2 children)

My guess is the Candace Owens/ Nick Fuentes wing of the party are still pretty anti interventionist, unless that's changed?

[–] Sanctus@anarchist.nexus 50 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Idk I literally cannot live my life and keep up with this bullshit.

[–] MarxMadness@hexbear.net 34 points 1 day ago

Without getting into specific right-wing weirdos: there's long been an isolationist strain of conservative thought, and there's long been an antisemitic strain. The discord among conservatives is coming from those quarters.

[–] ConcreteHalloween@hexbear.net 10 points 1 day ago

Fuentes has already condemned the attack.

Wonder what happens to the Republicans once Trump kicks the bucket. Class solidarity will hold the party together I imagine, but people like MTG and Walsh here are pushing back things like Epstein and now this.

[–] infuziSporg@hexbear.net 1 points 6 hours ago

Look at what/how the party has been doing outside of presidential elections. They're hanging on just fine by entrenching minority rule.

They've figured out that mask-off fascism brings them plenty of votes, so they'll pivot to that as a permanent strategy. Meanwhile they control 27 governorships and 28 state legislatures.

[–] spectre@hexbear.net 26 points 1 day ago

Class solidarity will hold the party itself together, but their lower-middle class (hate the term, but it's fine for this purpose) will not stick with them without Trump.

the firehose of gaslighting and lies isn't so fun when you're on the receiving end of it eh matty boy?

Matt Walsh finally noticed that being fired from DW is a better career move than staying there

Democratic Party candidate for one of Kentucky's US Senate seats, Matt Walsh

The devastating response is that the hostages were released

[–] XiaCobolt@hexbear.net 6 points 1 day ago (1 children)

maybe-later-honey "Welcome to the resistance"

[–] ElChapoDeChapo@hexbear.net 4 points 21 hours ago

Or alternatively maybe-later-honey "he's only siding with Iran because he's controlled by Russia"

[–] Llituro@hexbear.net 19 points 1 day ago

this is interesting because he wants to posture as both not anti-war (because trump is pro this war) and antisemitic. bombing iran is ...maybe not so bad since trump's doing it okay? but also why are you just now saying this "just noticing." this is the exact thread that tucker carlson is on. walsh is basically a demonic fusion of carlson and hegseth. candace and fuentes are the next step down the line, both much more overtly antisemitic, spreading silly "talmudic jew" tropes.

in other words, matt's trying to show allegiance to the pro-war (trump loyalist), anti israel faction. he is...not great at it.

How did I know it was going to be Matt Walsh before I even clicked.
