Lmao the whole reason I came to the comment section
Forsooth
I imagined him on the back of a train, wearing a tophat, reading this from a scroll into an old timey microphone.
Old timey announcer: Mrs Trump was on hand to hand out fell for it again awards to the newsboys and street sweepers who waited around after the announcement.
I HAVE A FEELING THIS IS NOT GOING TO MEAN ANYTHING
toll-free
1-800-IRAN-WON

Isn't there someone you forgot to ask?
this is an announcement of a potential agreement to enter into a formal negotiation about the terms of ceasefire
{つまり| in other words}, no shot. dead on arrival. Israel will kill it before pen meets paper.
"Trump, this is the seventh week in a row you've shown the reopened Hormuz Strait in class."
Post the meme coward
Let’s see Iran’s ceasefire statement
The actual MoU from Iranian Media (Shortened down but it covered the jist of things):
The permanent and immediate halt of war on all fronts, including Lebanon.
A U.S. commitment not to interfere in Iran’s internal affairs and to respect the sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The complete lifting of the naval blockade within 30 days.
A U.S. commitment to withdraw its forces from the areas surrounding Iran.
The reopening of the Strait of Hormuz within 30 days under Iranian “arrangements”.
The suspension of oil sanctions, petrochemical products and derivatives, and Iran’s full access to the financial proceeds from them.
The requirement for the US & its allies to present reconstruction plans for Iran worth at least $300 billion.
Sixty days of negotiations to reach a final agreement based on nuclear issues and the complete lifting of primary and secondary U.S. sanctions, as well as UN Security Council resolutions and resolutions of the IAEA Board of Governors.
Iran’s reiteration of its commitment under the NPT not to produce nuclear weapons.
During the negotiation period, the U.S. has committed not to add to its forces in the region and not to impose any new sanctions.
The release of $24 billion of Iran’s frozen funds during the 60-day period of final negotiations. Half of this amount must be made available to Iran before the negotiations begin.
The formation of a supervisory mechanism to implement the agreement.
The final agreement will be approved through a UN Security Council resolution.
Final negotiations will not begin before half of Iran’s frozen funds are released, Iran’s oil sanctions are suspended, and the naval blockade is lifted. The final agreement will be limited only to the fate of enriched materials and enrichment, sanctions relief, and the program for rebuilding Iran’s economy. Discussions about Iran’s missile program and support for Resistance groups have been definitively removed from the agenda.
The permanent and immediate halt of war on all fronts, including Lebanon.
Right so Israel's going to bomb Beirut within 30 seconds and the deal will be off again.
Pretty much. Unless the US reigns it in.
They won't. Hell they can't. Israel knows as soon as it stops fighting that's it for them.
This is a complete and utter US loss if this is what they actually agree to
Complete and utter US loss happened months ago. It grows more complete and utter with each day not agreeing to this.
Iran’s reiteration of its commitment under the NPT not to produce nuclear weapons.
Iran was already doing that before the U.S. attacked. They also have an arguably more powerful weapon (in the sense you can actually use it): closing the strait.
The US did attack though 🤔
This stuff sounds good on the balance for Iran. But the reality of what the completely untrustworthy parties (US, Israel) will do is likely to differ substantially, unfortunately.
It is actually unbelievable to me that the US would pay $300 billion in reparations in some format. The only way they'd ever do something like that is if it's actually just imperialism, like they get to own Iranian infrastructure going forward and claim that 6 bridges and a water plant is worth $300 billion.
Iran has publically said if the US does not honor its committments they go back to war.
Which is a good position for them to have, yes. Slowly adopting a holding pattern of looking like the reasonable party while holding substantial leverage. But the imperialists also keep taking nasty potshots.

Didn't he say this like 39 times or something? Like why is today any different?
Bruh it was toll free on January this year, you and Bibi screwed things up and now the US government lost couple of billions worth of money that could've been spent elsewhere (e.g., on social program), there's 800 dead Irani girls from the Tomahawk missile strike, and my bank account is like $300-400 poorer from the inflation your sorry ass caused for no reason.
Yah but Trump and friends made millions with his market manipulations via the war.
couple of billions worth of money that could've been spent elsewhere (e.g., on social program)
That was never going to happen
So is this an actual peace treaty or yet another deal Israel will blow up?
Did he get Netanyahu's permission?
Isn't there someone you forgot to ask.jpg
Is it tho?
Nah, isntreal already said they wont stop their shit in Lebanon. This is more bullshit from amerika
Five seconds later…🚀 💥
There is nothing in the deal about toll-free Mr Trump

Is it set to be signed on Friday at 4pm east coast US time?
Didn't officials say just yesterday or the day before that they were not interested in being part of his birthday nonsense?
it'll be signed on friday if it lasts that long. they probably caved and announced something on his bday for some minor concession.

for the record iran is still going to be charging "fees"
whatever
