Not surprising the banker likes oligarchs.

I said it before and I will say it again. After seeing Mark's rapid fire dismantling of democracy and gutting of social services and Trump's behavior in the last 10 years, anyone who says 'we need a businessman and not a politician' should be locked up for 20 years in solitary confinement.

In case anyone wasn't paying attention, the Cons are fascists/separatist traitors, the Libs are the new Cons and the NDP are the new libs. Your main political choices are:

Extremist Right - Far Right - Centre Right

Eh, Avi Lewis doesn't seem centre right.

We will see, he hasn't made his mark yet.

The party got us dental care without even being in power. Good enough for me.

Here you go!

We were supposed to get Pharmacare too, but as soon as the Liberals didn’t need the NDP coalition they scrapped it. Fuck the Liberals.

He's got a party to rebuild, but if there were ever a time you'd like to have a real left-of-center party in this country, now is the time to do get involved. They don't exactly have a lot of "Old Guard" to get in the way.

Except all of his policy suggestions tend to be on the left side of things.

I mean he could suddenly veer right but that seems like a fantasy for accelerationists.

So I just looked up some of his proposals and I was not well informed. He has indeed proposed a lot of actual centre left public options.

I stand corrected.

I'm particularly pleased with his public telecom proposal.

A rare moment of understanding on social media. ✊

Avi Lewis is not centre right. And Libs aren't the new Cons. Liberals have always had a strong fascist leaning streak, the difference between Carney and PP is that PP is really, REALLY awkward and stupid while Carney is just a bit smoother. Carney makes a big game about elbows up and his Davos speech, but he immediately walked back EVERYTHING he said. The moment Trump dies or is deposed in some way (and he is likely to be assassinated by the Mossad for his perceived betrayal of Israeli interests, or even by the CIA due to his insane levels of domestic and international destruction), he will deal with Vance or whoever else is president with the same level of cooperation as he and other PMs did in the past.

Basically you have lunatic extreme right vs. stone-cold extreme right vs. some semblance of progressives.
