This doesn't even look like Roman armour, it looks like some techno-feudal samurai shit. It looks like a Skyrim mod

[–] PolandIsAStateOfMind@lemmygrad.ml 27 points 7 months ago (1 children)

Nah, Skyrim have both better looking armor and better looking NPC

[–] 30_to_50_Feral_PAWGs@hexbear.net 16 points 7 months ago

Better dialogue than you're going to get out of E~L~^O^~N or his bazingoid fanboys, too

[–] Dolores@hexbear.net 22 points 7 months ago (1 children)

i'm always interested to see how an artist extrapolates the elements of pre-plate armor cultures into a theoretical plate design, but if this ai shit ass shit was supposed to look 'roman' there aint shit here. slap some pteruges on it at least

[–] PolandIsAStateOfMind@lemmygrad.ml 15 points 7 months ago* (last edited 7 months ago) (1 children)

Current models can do armor that while not historically accurate could at least be taken for a Roman by layman. This here is not only made by someone really lazy with his prompts but those prompts most likely didn't even included the word "Roman".

Which makes it OK to larp as a toddler on Twitter, his burner pretending to be a two year old child is much closer to his mental age than physical age.

[–] GenderIsOpSec@hexbear.net 34 points 7 months ago

overall i'd say the italians fucked up and caused the angles and saxons to migrate to the terf Island

There is an explanation, though. Bogs in Britain are much more sterile than in the Mediterranean due to their pH content. In fact they can preserve bodies from tens of thousands of years. For the Romans who couldn't have possibly known that and associate swamps and bogs with infection and disease, seeing people cooling down in them must have been extremely off-putting.

[–] Saeculum@hexbear.net 11 points 7 months ago

Luv me woad
Luv me bogs
Luv me rock piles
'ate the Romans
Simple as

[–] iByteABit@hexbear.net 41 points 7 months ago

I bet Adolf also imagined himself this good looking when daydreaming about being a Roman emperor my-hero

[–] Awoo@hexbear.net 40 points 7 months ago (1 children)

Ain't no way Elon is fitting his barrel chest in that lmao.

And a waist? This dude thinks Elon has a waist. Lmao

[–] Awoo@hexbear.net 32 points 7 months ago (2 children)

lmao did not bother reading ahahaha he fucking made this of himself what is wrong with him

Like holy shit I wonder if this dude doesn't get killed in the next few years if he'll just viscerally cringe at some of his behaviour 30 years from now.

[–] ShimmeringKoi@hexbear.net 30 points 7 months ago* (last edited 7 months ago)

You know how quitting alcohol all at once after years of heavy drinking can actually kill you? That's how I imagine it is for gaining self-awareness. I think there comes a point of being so embarassing that growing out of it is actually dangerous, because at any moment you might remember and cringe so hard you shatter like porcelain.

Musk is gonna fall into a benzo coma and get his plug pulled by his herd of children and flat line. He isn't making it to 80

[–] axont@hexbear.net 35 points 7 months ago (1 children)

Melon's numbers are always great. 32.4 million views and less than 300k hit like?

Bro paid $44 billion to get less attention than tiktok prank compilations

Biden's Superbowl tweet getting more likes than Elon pissed him off so much that he left the Superbowl, went straight to Twitter HQ, called in a bunch of engineers (Sunday night remember), and made them change the algorithm so that his own personal account would be more popular than the official account of the president.

He has to be the most fragile man in the world

Gave himself an AI generated diet and gym routine too

[–] JayTreeman@hexbear.net 33 points 7 months ago (2 children)

If I had that kind of wealth, and I wasn't into redistribution, I'd have a personal chef, trainer, and physiotherapist. I'd actually be extremely well fed and fit. What's wrong with these people where they don't even try and enjoy the most basic human joys. Exercise and food.

[–] ItsPequod@hexbear.net 12 points 7 months ago

Well I mean. That would take, like, work ethic or something, I very much doubt Elon or any other tech idiot has that kind of introspection, it's easy mode all the way down

[–] JayTreeman@hexbear.net 2 points 7 months ago (1 children)

Respectfully disagree. There's a satisfaction that's only available from hard labor. That's OK if it's not your thing, but I love a good workout

You can be the buff one

so-true

More serious take: With the decline of the new Roman empire slowly starting to become obvious even to the broader, less educated masses, its leaders increasingly escape to the fantasy aesthetics of the old Roman Empire. mattjak

[–] SorosFootSoldier@hexbear.net 25 points 7 months ago

This man (baby) is 53 years old. How embarrassing.

[–] BelieveRevolt@hexbear.net 23 points 7 months ago

He just keeps falling deeper into the fash rabbit hole, I'm just surprised he hasn't outright 14 word posted yet.

[–] tombruzzo@hexbear.net 21 points 7 months ago (1 children)

How dare he use the name of Mary Beard's book like that

[–] Flyberius@hexbear.net 14 points 7 months ago

It's a good book. Her Pompeii one is also good

[–] Infamousblt@hexbear.net 21 points 7 months ago (1 children)

For bonus cringe zoom into his right shoulder, there's a water mark there for a twitter handle. So someone made this obviously AI generated thing and Musk reposted it. Real curious what else that twitter handle is posting but I don't have twitter and I'm not that curious. Throwing it out into the world to see if someone else wants to.

[–] Philosoraptor@hexbear.net 8 points 7 months ago (2 children)

Just boring repetitive shit:

Need the newsom joker thing as an emoji

[–] Infamousblt@hexbear.net 7 points 7 months ago (1 children)

That last one is slop material for sure

[–] Philosoraptor@hexbear.net 10 points 7 months ago (1 children)

He's reposted it 3 times in the last 48 hours. It's also the tweet immediately above this screenshot.

[–] Infamousblt@hexbear.net 6 points 7 months ago

Brainworms working overtime on that one
