It happened at night, though, so no one noticed.

I don’t understand, how can the turtle do this? Is it because the elephants are dancing? Won’t they fall off??!

[–] mmddmm@lemm.ee 21 points 2 days ago (1 children)

That's just globalist propaganda. We all know the Sun is the one that moves because it's hanging from the ceiling!

(And just because I couldn't make something so stupid that made it clear, \s - but hey, it was hard to make even this.)

I was just joking also, the only reason I did not put the sarcasm tag was I had an iOS keyboard. Still not sure where that button is, someone said it’s next to the “any” key.

Oh, your joke was obvious enough.

I think nobody believes on a giant turtle nowadays... I mean, it's hard to be certain, but I think a group like that would be famous.

[–] I_am_10_squirrels@beehaw.org 1 points 1 day ago

The turtle moves!

[–] limer@lemmy.dbzer0.com 4 points 2 days ago

Yes ! Indeed

This is what happens, when global warming lights the turtle on fire.

[–] GammaGames@beehaw.org 1 points 2 days ago

Your friend the Turtle... He died a few years ago. The old idiot puked inside his shell and choked to death on a galaxy or two. Very sad, don't you think? But also quite bizarre.

I'm so old, I remember that this happened before. It will go over, don't worry. I'm not affected because I live in Europe but I remember that the Americans recovered quite quickly from this.

[–] perishthethought@lemm.ee 10 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Wait what's this? Europeans are supposed to always say derogatory things about Americans. ;)

[–] mstrk@lemmy.world 10 points 2 days ago

not quite, Americans are Europeans as well... Just ancient.

[–] General_Effort@lemmy.world 7 points 1 day ago

The terminator has passed over North America, illuminating the entire continent in the eerie light of a thermonuclear explosion. People report suffering radiation burns from unshielded exposure.

[–] OhStopYellingAtMe@lemmy.world 10 points 1 day ago

Hello darkness, my old friend.

[–] Sibshops@lemm.ee 28 points 2 days ago

And I still have to go to work tomorrow. SMH

[–] Geodad@lemm.ee 1 points 1 day ago

That is technically true, which is the best kind of true.

Ah, I see it's that time of the day again

[–] RedSnt@feddit.dk 1 points 1 day ago

The sun truly is setting in the west.

[–] aviationeast@lemmy.world 8 points 2 days ago

This is just a metaphor for Trump's election.

[–] Asafum@feddit.nl 4 points 2 days ago

Thank God South America will be ok at least!

[–] Akasazh@lemmy.world -1 points 1 day ago

This is what sarcasm had become. I mean i expulsés some air through my lips so I'm rolling on the floor laughing rn.

But I long for the times where the undertone for sarcasm was 'no way that could happen' instead of 'it literally happens every day'.
