The wildflowers are going to seed so I'm going to spend the weekend collecting different species for winter propagation. Next year I want to make as many of our municipal plantings as possible native species that we grow ourselves, which could save the city like $90k/year on top of a huge amount of green waste.

I'm doing an organizing for palestine thing. Its some kind of meeting? Discussion? Talk? about progress made and the way forward for the movement. I'm terribly nervous about it, as is the nature of doing new things and meeting new people.

Also, the super cool older woman who pointed me towards this event told the organizers to "keep an eye out for [me]!". Although getting attention from a super cool older woman (#notaGILFhunter) gives me the warm fuzzies that little detail has not made the ainxiety any better.

I am embarassed to admit how nervous I've been over all this but I promised myself I'd become less of a weenie and actually start to organize IRL so yeah.

Food distribution > errand > band practice, then a nap and chill, probably do some cleaning and watch horror movies

Giving myself a personal challenge, by Monday morning I want to do the following:

• Learn at least a little bit of career opportunities that interest me, and some of the skills they entail

• Play at least 20 minutes of an instrument of my choice

• Get the ball rolling on getting Adderall

Working the worlds most inconvenient shifts

See friends I haven’t seen in forever, discuss revolution and freeing the masses while smoking big weed. Been off booze for a month and I feel exceedingly normal

Doing volunteer work for a paper I'm writing, can't say more for opsec reasons.

Working. It's Saturday and that's the most important day for us retail grunts. I say as I hide in the back and move pallets around in the racking.

Perhaps getting sick later. My partner caught something from work so we'll see if I can manage to avoid it despite sharing a basement together lol.

Probably play some video games, maybe drink some alcohol, much like most weekends.

Already went to the gym, Saturday morning is really the best time for it.

There was a film I'd wanted to rewatch, 'cos I'd seen it ages ago and liked it but the plot was a blur to me now and I'd forgotten the name.

Earlier this week, I accidentally stumbled into a review of it, so now I've torrented it and I gave it a watch.

If I get the peace and quiet to watch another film this weekend I'm gonna finally get 'round to watching Videodrome.

Oh and now that it's lovely and cool and wet outside, I'll be able to take the dog on a nice long hike. He couldn't cope with the heat this summer and is too afraid of the dark to go on proper night-time walks, so he hasn't gotten anywhere near the exercise he usually has and I intend to make up for that.

I'm going for a run in a few minutes and then I'm going to work on the bookshelves I'm making for my partner.

If I'm not completely exhausted, I'm going to make some music this weekend. I'm trying to get better at making drum tracks that have more complex grooves.

Came home from a short trip so it's rest, laundry, weekly grocery shop and baking bread for next week today. Tomorrow we will go mushroom picking and hiking like we typically do on weekends.

Other than that, some DS9 in the evenings (like every night) and just generally getting mentally ready for going back to work and studies next week. Slightly pre-stressed as I haven't done a longer break in years and I fear I will get left behind in my studies. But this year I just needed the break, was feeling very burnt out.

It's dnd night, so I'm gonna play Pathfinder with my friends. Also a lot of chores cause I work tomorrow and spent the rest of my weekend playing Hollow Knight and now I'm way behind.

Previously: had a load of blood tests earlier for complications of getting old.

Ongoing: adjusting to new medications making me feel weird and dozy.

Currently: catching up with the Stuttgart v St Pauli game from the other night.

Later: If I feel up to it I'll make some big veggie spring rolls and maybe play Hades which I just reinstalled after bouncing off it when it was new.

I got a 10 day vacation very soon. So im a bit hype for that. I started watching Alien Earth with my bro which is better than expected so far, quite fun.

Might go dancing with a cute friend tonight, depending on their availability.

Tomorrow, I'm going to get some of my music gear from my ex's place. They may or may not be there but I'll probably be real fucked up either way. After that, there's an event for International Day of Peace that I'm going to, followed by salsa dancing.

Other than that, probably be very depressed thinking about my ex and try to distract myself with slop.

Working seasonal work, I probably won’t have a day off the whole month of September. Pay will be worth it. Fuckin winter is coming.

Going to the beach overnight. Surf is flat today so I'm going fishing instead. Threw a cot, a pillow, sunshade, stuff for sandwiches and a couple gallons of water in the bed of my truck. Hoping to catch my dinner but brought sammiches for backup.

Going to work in about 5 minutes.

Stressing about work & school mostly. If I have time (or procrastinate) I'll keep watching the Sopranos which I haven't seen before
