I'm trying to think of a country that disappears people at its border. I know there is one but I don't think its china.
Slop.

you know, we make light of it, but China has a mass incarceration problem, Google "22 percent of the world's prison population"
country with four times less people has more people incarcerated
Look, if you don't like a country's laws, don't visit them. China takes misinterpaateing very seriously.
wir hebben een serius misinterpaatein
I literally sneaked through a Chinese military zone to get to some non touristy great wall
Look behind you.

Burger
A cake burger no less, coward wouldn't even do the real thing.
Is this about Ludwig?
The thread this post was made in is about Ludwig and Michael Reeves traveling in China.
They just passed my cousin's city in Hubei. She's actually working on an adjacent field (advertising for hot spring resorts and shit).
The biggest threat to them right now is dying of hypothermia. They are not prepared for the north. I went to Henan in Feb 2 years ago and the snow hadn't fully thawed in certain places. It might not be below 0 in late March but if they thought Hunan was cold...
lol this is such a lie I have crossed the southern border in an unconventional manner that meant I was going south with a boat full of thai seasonal workers heading home for chinese new year.
I assure you not only did the workers not have visas to be stamped but the police who came and stamped my passport did not even look twice at them. The cops in China were quite nice. Just don't take photos outside government buildings ya dinguses. Way more fashy police south of the border.
(acab of course, I'm sure my experience was coloured by my skin tone and status as a foreign visitor / opportunity to practice english)
took me a second to figure out if this ding dong meant Chinese state borders or international boarders.
Both are true, if you are a liberal and you leave Shanghai to go anywhere else, instant gulag
No it's the boarders, the people who put boards on things, you should never interrupt their work or else you'll be off to gulag.
"This is china where one mistep can lead you to accidently landing in a forbidden area. Specificly these are around the boarders. If they fuck up through and misinterpaate one of these sites, were never going to see the two of them again. Most likely they will get tried as spies and spend the rest of their lives in a chinese jail."
The text was a little too small in the image so here it is :D
My bad! I thought it'd fit nicely in the thumbnail. I'll put the text in the OP too.
Better for accessibility to caption as much as possible. Besides, even if you don't normally use captions yourself, sometimes images don't load or stop working for whatever reason
I'll keep this in mind from now on.
Fucking boarders man, so easy to misinterpaate.
You know this is a good one because of the spelling errors.
America really needs to show China how to handle when someone accidentally misinterpaates a boarder. It's important to put people in concentration camps humanely.
