Hasan Piker states he will β€œdo everything in his power” to make sure the virulent Zionist and pro genocide/anti Palestinian candidate Nithya Raman is the next mayor of Los Angeles

Full interview with hasan fans cope

I apologize for the abhorrent quality but I compressed the video substantially so as not to have to split it into multiple parts. Here is the complete interview with Hasan Piker and Nithya Raman. Disclaimer: Hasan never formally endorsed Nithya Raman before or after this interview. A conversation with a politician is not an endorsement. This is the entire, unedited segment. sit-back-and-enjoy

Me sitting back and not voting for pro genocide candidates ( it's actually incredibly easy and the morally correct thing to do )

It looks like she's holding her own severed head

When someone says that Israel does have a right to exist, your follow-up question needs to be β€œWhat international body grants them that right? Did Yugoslavia not have a right to exist or Czechoslovakia.”

No state has a right to exist, because that’s not a thing.

And even if we accept the idea that some states have a right to exist -- for example, I would say Cuba has a right to exist! -- iϟϟntreal certainly has no right to exist.

Dunno if you know but how do you do emojis in the photon web client? : doesn't bring up the list and I feel naked without :sadness:

[–] Azarova@hexbear.net 5 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago) (1 children)

If there's no emoji button then I guess your only option is to look at the source of a post that's used the one you want and copy the link

That's okay because I'm back on the normal client now, it's working, thanks anyway!

Green Party if Gavin Newsom becomes the dems presidential candidate

I think your wrong about this. The key difference is Raman actually needs Hasan's endorsement which is why he's giving it. He's chasing an illusion of power here. There's no illusion that he'll have any power over Newsome.

Playing kingmaker just for the fun of it

[–] ZWQbpkzl@hexbear.net 12 points 1 week ago

Focusing on character flaws is missing my point. This is a recurring trap people fall into. They do feel compelled to compromise on candidates, just to prove that they actually have power the power to get one elected, instead of waiting for one that actually aligns with their beliefs.

Didn't the chapo podcast have her on recently?

Yup.

I haven't heard it but i can't imagine it was hostile

[–] Crucible@hexbear.net 27 points 1 week ago

Yeah, they never brought up Palestine at all with her. Hasan officially further left than Movie Man Menaker lmao

kill the podcaster in your head

After the glazing they did for Mamdani, the Chapo boys have barely a political bone in their body. Fucking Stav is more politically radical at this point.

Edit: I will still listen because they are funny and more in touch with Dem electoral politics than I am, but like, the idea that the Chapo boys will be any kind of vanguard is hilarious.

Call me a liberal but I like mamdani

What getting hundreds of thousands of dollars a month for cracking jokes about twitter twice a week or so will do to a mfer:

Genuinely, you would have thought they would have learned from AOC and Bernie, they literally did the same kind of thing for them, with talking them up. I think they were just too excited to actually have a real measured materialist perspective on the issue. It sucks, I get the level of charisma these progressive politicians have, but like, come on.

He supports people like this and yet he’s still considered Stalin’s disciple to liberals

Has not "formally endorsed her" as though he didn't have a quorum.

"hasan entryism" was just democrats doing entryism into young communist communities

[–] CyborgMarx@hexbear.net 21 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Where the fuck is the follow up and Hasan's comment on it?

[–] THEPH0NECOMPANY@hexbear.net 17 points 1 week ago

I was listening to this live and from memory he was so stunned by her position that he didn't know how to respond and said let's move on.

And honestly I can't really blame him cause her position is like a meme we would make of enlightened centrists. He even warns her right beforehand that people are going to consider it a litmus test.

I'm shocked /s
