Genuinely what did he expect him to do? It's not like you get to choose the amount.

[–] Lemminary@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago

I guess they could fake it? Pour some fake cum into the meaty porthole and watch it spout like the good Ol' Faithful.

[–] LORDSMEGMA@sh.itjust.works 265 points 3 days ago (4 children)

Poor guy probably had to do 6 takes on the cumshot and was just shooting dust and spiders at that point

[–] neukenindekeuken@sh.itjust.works 149 points 3 days ago (1 children)

From everything I've read about the male performer side of this industry, that's likely correct.

[–] CosmicTurtle0@lemmy.dbzer0.com 77 points 3 days ago (6 children)

Honestly, it's probably one of the few industries where men are paid less than women.

I looked into the porn industry during the pandemic and it's wild, pun intended. Some companies are legit and super concerned about consent and paying people well but others are not (i.e. girlsdoporn). Some production companies are super progressive while others are normal capitalistic ventures with shitty values.

Even individual models (e.g. onlyfans models) can be deceiving. Some are "real" in the sense it's the real model interacting with you while others hire third-world companies to manage their sites. (Aside: be careful not to form parasocial relationships with OF models.)

[–] menas@lemmy.wtf 9 points 2 days ago

It's important to note that man are not stigmatized, where women could often not find an other job after their porn carrier. Economic inequality is not just about wages

[–] pmk@piefed.ca 47 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Isn't a parasocial relationship the point with OF?

[–] LurkingLuddite@piefed.social 55 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Doesn't make forming one a good idea.

I create porn

Admittedly, mine is intended to be silly for the most part, but occasionally I make something that I think is genuinely sexy

When people have fun with the unhinged stuff, it's great. The back-and-forth is genuinely fun

I haven't had anyone say anything mean about the actual "porn" stuff, but I would feel really sad if something I created to be sexy had someone shit all over it

Especially when it's done for the love of it, not for money

as long as there is more than two tiddlywinks of cum you should be fine

[–] WorldsDumbestMan@lemmy.today 4 points 2 days ago

Being a Phub worker is so miserable, the guy is asexual by now.

Being a pHub worker is mostly like being a sex slave.

I have a Samsung phone so every time Android updates it downloads 3 new, shitty games that nobody asked for. A few times I played them just long enough to be able to leave a negative review and complaint on the Play store before deleting them. I know there's no benefit but it does make me smile to tell them exactly how much I hate their bloatware trash games.

[–] kalpol@lemmy.ca 4 points 2 days ago

Samsung always had nice hardware and the worst software I've ever seen.

[–] Bruhh@lemmy.world 17 points 2 days ago (3 children)

Can I ask what samsung? Could be a carrier thing because this has never happened to me

[–] wieson@feddit.org 5 points 2 days ago

I think forced apps (vendor lock-in ) are forbidden in the EU

[–] Trainguyrom@reddthat.com 7 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Yeah this is generally a carrier thing and why people should be buying manufacturer unlocked phones and not directly from the carriers

[–] YiddishMcSquidish@lemmy.today 4 points 2 days ago (1 children)

I genuinely can't remember the last carrier phone I had. I get whatever $200 every few years. So far it's been a Sony, a used pixel, and a Motorola, and I just found out my current Motorola is supported by graphene, so I might see how long I can make it last. It's honestly perfect, the Sony was/is beautiful but had a slightly wrap around the sides screen making it very sensitive in the way you hold it even with a case.

[–] Trainguyrom@reddthat.com 3 points 1 day ago

I worked for a phone manufacturer for a while and got to see firsthand the wild BS that happens with carriers. Primarily how the carrier-branded SKUs consistently provided a much sloppier experience than unlocked. Verizon was pretty bad about it, but Boost Mobile was the absolute worst, loading apps so sketchy that every once in a while Android's own malicious app removal mechanisms would remove them. One time they preloaded an app that actually caused certain system functionality to not work correctly and we had to start advising people to disable that particular app.

I laughed so hard when the Sprint/T-Mobile merger happened and Boost was propped up to supposedly become national carrier. Looks like they were allowed to fail at that and sell off their radio spectrum and are back to being a MVNO

[–] Etterra@discuss.online 10 points 2 days ago (5 children)

Verizon, USA. It doesn't matter, next time I get a phone it's gonna be a Fairphone or whatever, n I'm such of Samsung's bullshit.

[–] Krzd@lemmy.world 3 points 2 days ago

Get a fairphone. I've had 2 (3 and 5) and no issues at all. Pixels are nice too, but I've had 2 friends with batteries dying.

[–] PrettyFlyForAFatGuy@feddit.uk 6 points 2 days ago

get a pixel and put graphene on it

Then on the other end of that you’ve got the Brazzers ads with what looks like a super soaker filled with Jergens lotion.

[–] Banana@sh.itjust.works 31 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Im pretty sure they basically are, except they use cetaphil

[–] atomicorange@lemmy.world 15 points 3 days ago

We just keep reinventing the 12-step skincare routine don’t we?

[–] Brosplosion@lemmy.zip 3 points 2 days ago

"Two tiddilywinks of cum" has been stuck in my brain for years for no reason.

[–] stretch2m@infosec.pub 8 points 2 days ago (3 children)

When someone spackles the woman with a pint of jizz, it's disgusting. My immediate thought is what medical condition do they have? The average amount is 10cc, or a bit more than a dribble.

[–] Randelung@lemmy.world 11 points 2 days ago (1 children)

I get so insecure when sperm donor scenes in movies hand over three cups of sperm. Then again, the naked gun is probably bad reference material.

[–] modus@lemmy.world 4 points 2 days ago

They really should have had a medical consultant on set for realism. Otherwise that cinematic masterpiece is nothing more than high-budget copaganda trying to make cops look smarter than they actually are.

[–] BigBananaDealer@lemmy.world 4 points 2 days ago

10cc MENTIONED 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

People in comment sections of all porn videos are almost always just ruthless to the guys.

[–] P1k1e@lemmy.world 14 points 3 days ago (1 children)

As if he didn't already blow the major load earlier, poor fella had to stick it out cuz it's his job. So much pain, I'll pray for him

[–] tias@discuss.tchncs.de 8 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago)

Yes the issue is clearly budgetary constraints and/or the director's fault. Additional shooting days or stunt doubles could have avoided the lack of credibility. Are these guys even unionized?

[–] Janx@piefed.social 22 points 3 days ago (4 children)

The comments here and the one referenced make me wonder why anyone would watch professional porn in 2026...

[–] tempest@lemmy.ca 20 points 3 days ago (2 children)

Anything where the person is visible is pretty much professional.

Just because they're on only fans or whatever doesn't make it any less professional.

[–] Buddahriffic@lemmy.world 20 points 3 days ago (1 children)

IMO it's more about the vibe than whether porn is their main source of income.

Is she really horny or just acting?

If she's really horny, then it just comes down to whether or not I find her physically attractive, which is partially based on looks and partially based on how she physically displays her personality.

If she isn't really horny, someone acting like they are horny when they aren't is personally a turn off. Things like moaning as if she's about to orgasm while just giving a blowjob, random ahego face, thirst trap captions... Enough of those and it doesn't matter how hot I find her otherwise.

Professional porn tends to be more of the latter. Once the novelty wears off and it goes from "I'm getting paid to fuck!" to "I just gotta have sex to get paid", it loses that sense of genuineness.

[–] Aceticon@lemmy.dbzer0.com 6 points 2 days ago

Knowing how to spot genuine sexual enjoyment (from body reactions that can't actually be willed into happening) really spoils most porn, even the "amateur" stuff.

Sometimes when I experience small petty outrage at something I think of this comment.
